Twelve years ago today, authorities discovered the body of Peggy Miller in her burned-out car in St. Francois County. Her home in nearby Iron County had also been set on fire...
Unfortunately, after all these years, the family has no answers and there has been no arrest...
Investigators have said they believe more than one person was involved in the murder and that these people are familiar with the area. They say going to Millers home seems random and unplanned as there is no clear motive.

St. Francois County Detective Russ Qualls said in the past year, there have been no leads of substance. Past leads have led nowhere. Basically we are relying on people to come in and be honest with us right now, Qualls said...
Some leads in the past have been from people in trouble for other things who think they can get out of trouble if they say they have information about the murder. We have to talk to them all because they may have something, Qualls said...
There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions of the person or persons responsible for Millers death.
