This is the daughter of a friend of a friend of ours.
She is missing from Springfield, Missouri, not Kentucky.

Bless her heart. I hope she is just lost and trying to stay warm somewhere.

A city bus driver found her!!! As a parent of a nonverbal autistic child in Springfield I followed this one really closely! It was posted on KY3.com at 11:00 am!

Ugh .... Probably a good idea to start using the victim's initials only (including the thread title) at this time ....

:( Poor girl. I hope she has all the love, help, and support she needs in the future.

I feel like I have seen many new stories lately about city bus drivers helping people -- especially children -- in distress and it makes me very grateful that there are so many good people willing to help those in need. I am so glad this girl is home!

So sad that this girl had to endure what she did but glad she was found safe thanks to the bus driver.

This case accents the reason why a child "just" running away from home needs to be taken seriously each and every time.
