Cleaning crews preparing a house for new residents in Jackson, Mississippi, found a body wrapped in a blue tarp. The victim is apparently a middle-aged while male who had extensive surgery on his legs and likely walked with a limp. He died of a gunshot wound to the head, apparently at least one year ago.

Another man who lived at the home was found dead inside a car in a pond in Hinds County. 71-year old Robert Paige, who was wanted for questioning, had apparently just had the car pulled out of a ditch hours earlier.

Per the content in the above article, I'm guessing the body was being stored in the laundry room of the home.

The body of a middle-aged to elderly white male was found when the cleaning crew was dragging trash to the backyard to be burned in order to clean out the home that had just been purchased. As they attempted to remove a blue tarp, they uncovered human remains, Jackson Police Department Commander Tyree Jones said.

Police said it looks like the man, who had major surgical repairs to his lower extremities with metal rods surgically placed in his legs, had been there for around a year. An autopsy showed he had been shot in the head.
