My AV software detected a problem with that link.

Which one? I have Avast and didn't get an alert.

ETA-the first one is MSM, International Business Times. However it may be in one of their ads. I have on my browser.

Just a reminder...

Lets keep todays news on this thread, only because it makes it easier to reference if we need to. Thanks!

Not sure what thread this belongs on, the news that Lisa's step brothers were to be interviewed and now the police are saying that is not true. Today's news from a few sources.

http://foxnewsinsider.com/2011/11/0...isa-irwin’s-brothers-should-happen-this-week/

the above was in the media links thread

and then this:

http://www.examiner.com/missing-per...lice-say-brothers-interviews-not-re-scheduled

since it's difficult to rely on either, which is the truth?

oh my, i guess there is no new news.

i guess it's because it's an infant that the helplessness of the little girl has gotten to me more than most missing cases. and many people i imagine.

i hope the links were okay to post.

this examiner article is by Isabelle Z (only approved examiner author by websleuths owners):

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Isabelle Zehnder) -- Reports that missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin's two half-brothers were scheduled to be re-interviewed by child specialists this week are false, Kansas City Police Capt. Steve Young said in an email Monday.

Asked to confirm if news reports that the intruder theory is falling apart in this case, Young said it was media's interpretation and not something confirmed by police.

Asked if police have named any suspects or persons of interest in this case Young said, "No."

Asked if police have moved on from the reported sightings of a man walking with a baby at 12:15 a.m. and 4 a.m., and the gas station surveillance video showing a person emerging from woods at 2:15 a.m. the night Baby Lisa vanished, Young said, "It has not led us anywhere."

Asked if police are still looking for a live Lisa Young said, "We're looking for everything."

They are not step brothers, they are both half brothers to Lisa, but they are step brothers to each other.
Step children do not share a parent. Half siblings do share ONE parent.

Hmmmmm.....let's see, who to believe - police or parents? Hmmmm.........I pick police. Just call me cynical at this stage of the game.

I know the attorney has indicated the boys will go for an interview. But that was the smoke. Truth is it is will most likely take a court order to get those boys in for an interview.

And they have been with parents for several weeks now. Watching them cry, watching them profess fear of going to jail, feeling sorry for them. I would be surprised if an interview with either boy now will result in any info.

ha! Thanks for clarifying. i knew who they were to each other and to her, but didn't really know the right terminology. half to her/step to each other...i get it now.

seems there will still be no interview.

If I were in their shoes, I'd be getting a NEW attorney. This one just keeps shooting them in the foot.

If i were in their shoes i would take the whole Fam Damily to LE and let them interrogate the carp out me. I would also dump the attorney and not even hire another one. Then i would call in Tim Miller to have him search for my child. JMO

Have there even been any searches recently?

Not that it really matters, but wouldn't JI and DB have to be married for the boys to be considered "step brothers" ? :waitasec:

I agree Teh! But, do they see it that way? I think they are so far out of the loop and only listening to one side-that they don't realize how far down the rabbit hole they've gone. You can fix alot of things-but you can't replace the time that's gone by-which makes me think that they knew Lisa couldn't be found-at least alive!:sigh:

The minute that Joe Tacopina became involved with this case, I knew that there would be nothing but a whole lotta horse hash, smoke, mirrors, and endless spin. Unless there is a major break in the case very soon, Lisa Irwin will become another statistic, and the media will move on to the next headline. jmo

Interesting - according to the below DB and JI haven't even allowed for the cheek swab DNA tests to be done on the boys.

QUOTE:
Police have repeatedly asked the parents to allow DNA cheek swab testing of the two boys, a non-invasive, quick, and easy process.

The parents have, for weeks, repeatedly refused all of these police requests

http://www.examiner.com/missing-per...-not-re-scheduled?CID=examiner_alerts_article

That is very interesting.
