Kalispell to Sidney is an almost 10 hour drive. To where her car was found is about 8 hours away.

That's some major dedication to drive that far every 2 weeks for methadone. She has a brain tumor and diabetes. :(

I hope they've done a thorough search near the car. I hope Nicole is found safe and soon.

Kalispell woman missing for 2 weeks last seen in Eastern Montana

Federal, state and local authorities continue to search for a Kalispell woman who was last seen on Valentine's Day in the Sidney-Fairview area.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry said that Nicole Yvonne Waller, 31, was last seen leaving the area on Feb. 14 for Kalispell.

Later that day, her car was found parked, with locked doors, on the side of a road near Poplar on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation.

Waller, 31, was visiting her boyfriend in Fairview and was returning home on Valentine’s Day. Her vehicle, a 1999 Maroon Ford Expedition, was found abandoned alongside U.S. Highway 2 a few miles west of Poplar, said a close friend of Waller’s, Cami Ewalt.

A missing person’s report was filed in Kalispell on Feb. 18, Ewalt said. Waller’s cell phone had been disconnected on Feb. 13 or 14, she added.

    Interesting.

Earlier reports stated that Nicole was driving to Sidney (near Fairview) to pick up methadone from a clinic there. She apparently drove there (almost a 10 hour drive from Kalispell) every other week. Nicole suffers from a brain tumor and diabetes. (http://www.dailyinterlake.com/news/local_montana/article_523d0a18-7c7f-11e2-bedb-0019bb2963f4.html)

None of that is mentioned in this new article. Just that she was visiting a "boyfriend".

It's very worrying that her insulin was in the car. Not to mention any other medications she might need.

Also wanted to note that Sidney is where Sherry Arnold disappeared while jogging just over a year ago. Yes, those perps were caught, but there was a lot of talk about the "rough" workers in that area.

Police: No sign of missing woman

    [snip]

While police do not know where Waller is, she may have moved through North Dakota.

Ewalt said Waller’s car was found abandoned along Highway 2 about two miles outside of Poplar, Mont. between Poplar and Wolf Point, Mont. and inside the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. That location, Ewalt said, has complicated jurisdiction lines and added the FBI to the list of agencies investigating.

Any idea if the car had a mechanical issue? Was it snowing that day? Possible she could have had to walk to get help and have fallen victim to hypothermia? Any businesses or homes near where the car was found?
