How sad and no one went to the house, but he was reported missing............
Here's an update on the case.
"Neighbors said they haven't seen Green in several weeks, and that recently "No Trespassing" signs appeared on the property."
What stood out to me is that he was reported missing in early Sept. and his 17 yr old daughter (that lives at that home)has been in jail since Sept.16 on a burglary charge.
And that someone has been to the house to post no trespassing signs.
I'm glad LE was still investigating, to go see what they could see at the house but HELLO should'nt that have been the first place they looked when he was reported missing. Or did someone that lived there say "no he's not here"?
Well, they've arrested one but expect more arrests. Sounds like they have some good leads. It was the old "freezer trick" that made it last so long.
"The live-in girlfriend of a missing Wake County man was arrested Thursday, investigators said, a day after sheriff's deputies found his body in a freezer at their home."
Body found in freezer leads to Lumberton woman's arrest
LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) - The discovery of a man's body concealed in a Raleigh home's freezer on Wednesday has led to the arrest of his 41-year-old live-in girlfriend.
Investigators said David Reuben Green, 52, of Raleigh, was reported missing by family members in September.
His body was discovered by the Wake County Sheriff's Office at a residence on Ray Road in Raleigh. Investigators say they think he had been killed at the home in April. Neighbors said they hadn't seen him since then.
Apparently, the 'live-in gf' was also the mother of their joint teenage children. Fella hadn't been seen since APRIL and was only reported missing in September? Report does not say who finally reported him missing. This will surely be another one of those with a back-story....

2 teens held in freezer killing
RALEIGH -- The woman charged with killing her long-time boyfriend and putting his body in a freezer might have had help from their two teenage children.
According to warrants filed Monday, Wendy Edmond Green, 41, is charged with conspiring with two others to kill her longtime companion David Reuben Green Jr., 52, in his Northern Wake County home. She was already charged with first-degree murder in the killing
The money theory
He said his cousin, David Green, came from a well-to-do family in Lumberton - his mother owns a string of nursing homes. Thornbill said Wendy Green was withdrawing large amounts of money from her boyfriend's financial accounts by posing as his wife and telling banking officials he was out of the country.
Thornbill said he knew something was amiss when David Green did not show up for the funerals of two aunts who died during his disappearance. Still, he held out hope that his cousin was out of the country until he checked with the U.S. State Department to see whether his cousin had recently used his passport. That's when he learned that David Green had not left the United States.
Family members hired a private investigator to search the home after a neighbor, Allen White, called David Green's mother. The neighbor said he was worried because he had not seen her son for some time
Showed off their dad's dismembered body to friends.
Thank goodness the family got a PI. There'd have been no evidence left.
who are the friends who were shown this and did not report it?
they need to be charged as well
there's no hope for those kids I'm afraid - their mother has made them just as disturbed as her
