NC NC - Ebonee Spears, 30, Wilmington, 15 Jan 2016

Both the police and the mother harboring information and pointing fingers have pulled focus so badly that no one is even concerned about actually establishing the basic details of this case.
Who screwed up, sadly, doesn't find Ebonee Spears.

At this point,

What we need from the police are:
1 - phone records (they have them)
2 - phone ping location
3 - phone voicemails
4 - Antonio McKoy's alibi
5 - Why there are 19 people listed as providing statements on the original police report, but only 4 names are visible

What we need from Antonio McKoy:
- What route did he take to Ebonee's house?
- How did he get into the apt.?
- How many times did he call her cellphone?
- Where were they supposed to be going?
- Where did he wait?
- Were her apt. lights on / door locked?
- Why did her wait so long to call her Ebonee's mother?
- Why did he not call Ebonee's mother to ask if Ebonee might be there?

What we need from the press:
1 - full account of the details of the disappearance, in chronological order
2 - timeline of her last day, including the actions and locations of her family, her boyfriend, and herself
3 - no more editorials on topics not directly related to the case
4 - entire footage of the full interview with Antonio McKoy

What we need from NamUs:
1 - update the most recent case report from 2/25 to include the original details from the one submitted on 2/7
2 - assign case managers that are aware they are being assigned to missing persons' cases
3 - investigate why Ebonee's first case submitted was assigned a case manager that (a) did not follow up to confirm status (b) said he doesn't even do that kind of work for that organization

TWO GLARING ISSUES:
- How did Antonio McKoy get inside Ebonee's apt.? Antonio did not have a key, yet was able to go inside to go through her purse.
- Why did he call her mother in the middle of the night (not to ask if they had seen her or if she was there, but) to say she was missing?
- Why didn't he look for her earlier?
- How did he already KNOW she was missing when he called?

Bump - Ebonee Spears, we care and someone knows something. Back to the top you go.

She was seen at the WPD at 8pm.
She was last seen at 10:45pm walking toward store from apt. (keys held hand).

Her boyfriend arrived at 11pm and she was gone (keys on table).
Her boyfriend called at 1am to tell her mother she was missing.

Window of time: Less than 15 minutes

Ebonee Spears was last seen
by a neighbor walking toward the store
with her keys in her hand at 10:45pm.

Her boyfriend arrived at Ebonee's apt.
and found her keys, purse and wallet
inside at 11pm.

He waited until 1am to call her mother
to tell her Ebonee was MISSING, not
to ask if she might be there.

WHY DID HE WAIT TWO HOURS BEFORE CALLING HER MOTHER????
HOW DID HE ALREADY KNOW SHE WAS MISSING???

Did he take the keys from her while she was walking and let himself in apt? It was said earlier that he did not have a key.

CORRECTION: Antonio McKoy had a key to her apt. He was able to let himself in.

Questions to answer:
1- What time in the morning and where did Antonio see her on Friday?
2- Did anyone see her walking to the WPD?
3- Did the family get a copy of her cell phone records from the police?
4- When was her last outgoing phone call? To whom?
5- Did she mention Antonio in her last phone conversation with her mother?
6- What did she have in her hands at the police station? Keys? Purse?
7- What did she have in her hands in front of her apt. when she asked a gentleman for a cigarette at 10:45pm? Did he see her lock her apt.? Were there lights on inside?
8- Is it possible to get locked out or is the lock a dead bolt?
9- Did anyone working at the store see her?
10- Is there any evidence that she made it to the store?
11- Have police checked Antonio’s phone records to corroborate his story?
12- How did Antonio find her apt.? Was it locked? Were there lights on?
13- If the apt. was locked, is it possible to exit the apt. without unlocking/locking the door?
14- Did the police find any forced entry?
15- Have the police dusted her apt. for fingerprints?
