I haven't seen a thing since Feb. 2018 -- which was posted here at that time.

Nothing has been updated as far as I can find tonight. Below is an article dated 2017 -- as we know, he's back in the Sampson County, NC, jail due to nonpayment of his house arrest dues, in violation of a court order. There was a more recent 2018 MSM article, but I did not see it when I checked Google just now.
Nothing about him WRT trial date, etc., on the Sampson County District or Superior Court dockets -- I just checked. Zip.
Justice is denied this little girl and her family so far, other than the same suspect in custody.
The article below is the now most recent one I could find, and it's dated 2017.

    Stupidity never ends, does it?
And neither does just plain meanness.
This child, and the People of the State of North Carolina deserve justice. Now.

Given the lack of moving forward, im not convinced they have the right person. Idk. If they have his dna in her thats a slam dunk.

No one at the party noticed him go inside? And then leave?

    Something is not right.

Small towns -- lots of kinfolk; everybody knows everybody. "We take care of our own," etc.

Yes, indeed, as @Hobgoblinmarket said above, something is not right...

That's a scary thought! But if they can't get a conviction he would walk anyway. At least this way if something comes to light in the future, they could take it to trial.
Seems far fetched, but in some of these cold cases thirty years later they nab the original suspect.
