Shannon was the second story on WECT news tonight. They were showing CUE and that they were doing due diligence and searching where three other women's bodies have been found.

It would seem with this case that LE knows the certain man, her phone pings and if she left the bar with anyone and what time. At least I'm hoping they know those things.They have not released those details to the public, So who knows even where we could search. My feelings are that she was with that guy and left with him in his car. She could have gone to Wilmington or any other surrounding towns. It would be great if LE could give us some idea so we could help.

My heart breaks to know that she was excited about her date that night..getting a spray tan and hair done...and her lunch with her mom the next day. I can't imagine the heartbreak that the family is feeling.

Thank you for the update terracotta!:loveyou: I just tuned in to WECT and saw the story. OMG, they searched the area where Allison Jackson Foy and Angela Rothen and Priscilla Rogers were found. I forgot about Priscilla Rogers. Her remains were found on River Rd., a dark road following the Cape Fear River to the south of Wilmington and just west of where Allison and Angela were found. There is no link to the story on WECT but will post one when available.

Thanks for clarifying Shannon's address and the great map, JustK. She only had 4 1/2 blocks to walk or ride her segway to the Husk instead of 8 blocks. It would make sense that she go 1/2 block North to Dock St. and turn west to get to the Husk at Front and Dock Streets. I liked veiwing from the street view!

Was in a hurry last night and didn't have time to post but, the first thing I thought of was the cab driver, TI and the two found victims near Monkey Junction and the other case on River Rd. When speaking with my family member, before coming here, we had all the same thoughts and discussed the same ideas as everyone here.
Shannon's case has some very similar details to the other three unsolved cases.
She was last seen leaving a bar
She is a older yet fit woman
She has had some criminal history
She may have come and gone from the bar alone and possibly drunk.

It would not have been dark at 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 5th. She did only have a very few blocks to walk or ride Segway and there would have been tons of people at bars and restaurants along the way.

One thing I noticed from the street view of the house is what appears to be several mailboxes on the front porch. Also, on Zillow or Trulia, it says that the home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. Sounds like the old home was converted into apartments, maybe.

Also, the picture of Shannon in the white t-shirt posted in the first news report, as my relative pointed out, was "Courtesy of WPD." That motivated us to search the court records. I couldn't get into the case information files but I knew someone here would

There is so much wooded area between Wilmington and Carolina Beach. I'm glad CUE is searching. I have taken my dogs into different wooded areas, if anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to follow up on the areas. It would be great if LE could give us some information so we could center our energy in one area.

Amanda Marie Jayne, 20 year old:
Last seen at Books a Million on Oleander, 7:30-7:45 last night. She has been listed as having some kind of dimentia or down's syndrome. She had a red duffle bag with her...

Where is the bus station in relation to Books a Million? Could she have been thinking of running away or leaving/meeting with someone?

I am glad that others see the similarities in Shannon's disappearance and the other 3 women. I was questioning myself if this theory of the cases being connected is too 'out there' when I wrote the above post.

Here is a link to an article on Priscilla Rogers. She was a drug addict IIRC she was also a prostitute but I am locked out of star news for the rest of this month so I'll keep looking elsewhere for a link.

Here's some similarities between Priscilla and the other ladies. She was found in the same general area as Angela & Allison. She lived downtown like Shannon. She was an older woman with a fit looking physique. (41 is not that old but it is when compared to most female MP's that we hear about on the news.) She had personal problems/risky lifestyle.

This article also mentions Carol Ann Rogers who was stabbed to death in her Pine Valley home in July 2011. She was also an older woman.

Hi all, there is a big event tomorrow in Empie park...kids day out, I think.
Anyway, I contacted Cue to see if they could get missing flyers out to the vendors for Amanda. I'm at work driving so I can't do the online forms to get the case registered. They said if someone can do the advocacy form and send a pic then they could get flyers done and get them out at tomorrow's event.

Amanda went missing just blocks away from Empie Park. If the opportunity is lost that would be a huge shame. Anyway just go to their ncmissing site and it tells you what they need to proceed.

Thanks for posting about Elisha. Neither of those areas are what I would consider safe. My daughter turned down a job at a popular pizza joint on Market because of Elisha's disappearance. Lot's of crime in that area and DD didn't feel safe about working nights there.

Ok one other thing...I googled Elisha Tucker Missing and there is a craigslist ad asking "please help me find my child."

According to this ad the last time Elisha was seen when she came to visit with a guy named Andy and said they were going to FL to pick up a friend and the parent said ok I'll call you tomorrow. When the parent called Elisha the following day, 'he' said they got into a fight at South of the Border (a tacky tourist trap on I-95 located on the SC side of the border at the NC/SC state line.) and took her back to Wilm. I paraphrased because I don't think the link is allowed on WS but y'all know how to find it.

IMHO I wonder if Elisha was being trafficked.
