The Locust Police Department received a report today that Locust resident Tara Rush Norton has not been seen or heard from since Sunday January 15th at approximately 6 pm when reportedly she voluntarily got into a silver pick-up truck with an unknown subject.
Ms. Norton is a 52 year old white female, approximately 5'7" tall and 120 pounds with long blonde hair and brown eyes. She resides on Hillcrest Drive in Locust.
She was last seen wearing black pants, black boots, a black jacket, and a white/black shirt with horizontal stripes.
Family members who have reported her missing reported that she suffers from Bi-Polar disorder, does not use medication, and does have a history of disappearing for short periods of time. Family members stated the lone difference this time is that she is not responding to family members that she usually responds to when disappearing.
No information was provided on where she may have been traveling to. Ms. Norton has been entered missing in the NCIC database, but at this time no foul play or criminal activity is suspected.
