I am struggling to get caught up...just cottoned onto this case 2 days ago and spent the day out and I am overwhelmed.


one stupid question so far if anyone doesnt mind.....do I have it correctly that EB has 3 of her own children, has anyone the ages and sexes of those children? and do we know if they were/are also "homeschooled"? (think I know the answer to that one but just need to know for myself for sure)


small note to any homeschooling parents: I am one myself so that's not why I am asking. but this wouldnt be the first time I saw a case where a child was pulled out of school to be "homeschooled" (read: we want no nosy teachers around) and the child ended up dead.

She has two daughters and a son. All grown. Not idea if any of them were home schooled.

Zahra wasn't home schooled. That's just an excuse that was given to Z's old school as to why she wouldn't be returning. There is no record of them filing the proper paperwork to begin the home schooling process.

I also saw red flags with the "home schooling" since the hearing aids were obtained to make it easier for Zahra to be in school, and there hasn't been any mention of any materials found in the house indicating she was actually being home schooled, and what are EB's qualifications? MOO

JMO and I could very well be wrong on this but I think I have it right. Oldest is a daughter not sure of her age but she has children close to Zahras age. Then a son DP, and another daughter BS who is approximatley 21. HTH

The only qualification you need in NC is to have a high school diploma or equivalent to home school.

One of those leads was a call from Rachel Freeman, who lives one mile from the area where investigators were searching on Tuesday night. Freeman told police she smelled something outside her home. "I want them to find it. I'm very concerned about her. We've smelled it since Sunday. It was real bad last night,” Freeman said.

But police said they didn't find anything around Freeman’s home. The area is less than a mile from where officers conducting a massive search Tuesday night for Zahra on property where police said her father had access to a wood chipper.

Baker is originally from Burke County. Her parents are M T F and S J F. The mother's maiden name is B.

Baker has at least three biological children that we were able to find information about.

According to MySpace and Facebook, one of Baker's daughters is B S. (There is another B.B. who EB and AB tried to run down on the road - added by me)

Baker's second daughter is A F and her father is C F H. Baker was never married to him.

She also has a son named D P and his father is D J P. Baker's son claims he only saw his stepsister, Zahra, once or twice.

Baker's first marriage was in 1985 to J A W in Caldwell County. In 1997, she was married to J R A in Caldwell County.

It's starting to look to me like there's been some very sloppy reporting done with regard to EB's criminal records. I'm still sorting through things, but wanted to put this out there so the vague data that's been previously reported by the media doesn't foul up the picture for us sleuthers.

I decided to compare EB's criminal history with AY's (her EX's) history to see if there were similar patterns. What I'm finding, is not only are there similar patterns between EB & AY's criminal records, but there is actually *significant* overlap.

Many of the convictions on her record being reported actually occurred while EB was living with *AY* at various addresses. With the exception of the *pending* "COMMUNICATING THREATS" charges, most of what I'm able to see are old case #'s (indicating past years) that are just now catching up with her.

I don't know how much I'm allowed to say on here. Looking over it, it appears to me that EB and AY (both) may have been acquiring TV's and furniture from multiple rent-to-own stores then not paying for it or returning it (e.g. "FAIL RETN PROP RENTD PUR OPT") -- and possibly even selling it (e.g. "Fraudulent disposal of mortgaged property").

Also, both EB and AY were writing worthless checks (such as the Walmart check mentioned in the linked article I saw on here about 6-8 pages back).

Anyway, just wanted to clear up the record as to the time period EB's criminal records pertain to, for the most part.

Oh-- I also think it noteworthy to mention...

AY has prior charges for "FICTITIOUS INFO TO AN OFFICER" and, it appears, altered vehicle registrations etc.
EB has prior charges for "COMMONLAW FORGERY", "FICTITIOUS DRIVER LICENSE", etc

So.. for those sleuthers who have been brainstorming about the "passport" photos with the white sheet background.. some of these past charges I'm finding for EB lend credence to the idea that there *could* have been a plan to forge identifications or other documents.

Now, I have a newbie-type question...
I've been working on putting together a table of EB and AY's records juxtaposed and I'm willing to share it. How much of their criminal records could I post here? What would I need to abbreviate or redact?

Yes, there was the one last week we heard of from Ms Freeman and the subsequent searching there (which was near the wood chipping jobsite).

But then yesterday there was an article regarding EB and AB (minus Zahra) having been spotted after dark driving in the MH park where they'd lived previously to Hickory house. In the accompanying video, neighbors mentioned how a couple days after the Bakers had been spotted there, they (neighbors) began smelling an awful odor.

Ah Hah! I found the mystery!!!!!!!!!!!! There were two different reports of odors!!!!!!!! The one I posted above and one at the mh park where the Bakers were seen in the middle of the night 3 weeks ago. Whewwwww. Sorry for the confusion.

I can't help but think AB & EB were trying to think of how to get out of whatever situation they got into with Z (killed her - accidentally or not) then they remembered the garbage schedule at the mobile home (perhaps it was the soonest pick up of places they knew) and went there in the middle of the night to dispose of "something" :sick: in a dumpster on site .. then the neighbours smelled it shortly after and the smell disappeared when the garbage was picked up. The mobile home sighting doesn't say a definite date, so it could be the same day Z and EB were seen in the furniture store .. or a day or two after.

The sighting at the mobile home park terrifies me more then anything so far. I'm sure they could not get back into the house since they had been evicted weeks prior. Most landlords change locks after a forced eviction.

So they must have been doing something on the land. For the neighbors to smell a horrible smell that they will never forget... that is scary.

It makes very good sense that they would be dumping something during a well known garbage pick up schedule. I feel like I need to talk to the garbage guys and ask if they picked up anything at that mobile. And if so did they smell anything. There should have been no garbage pickup.

I hope under that mobile was searched since there is skirting all around and that hill Z was forced to walk up. I want that checked too. :furious:
