This sounds awfully familiar. This was almost on the exact same place where Anna Faber went missing and found dead 2 weeks later. I'm sure this is just a creepy coincedence tho since the murder suspect of Anna is locked away.
Anyway, here are some facts about this missing man:

[FONT=&]The police are searching the wooded area around Soestdijk Palace for missing 50-year-old Edwin Takens from Soest. Takens left his home on Tuesday to go to work, and never returned. His car was found near the Paardenbos on Wednesday night, RTV Utrecht reports.
Around 50 police officers are combing the wooded area on Friday, police spokesperson Shirley Boonen said to newspaper AD. A police helicopter is also helping in the search. The police and soldiers also searched the wooded area on Thursday.

Takens is owner of restaurant Brasserie Bakboord in Almere, according to the newspaper. He is remarkably tall and has a shaved head. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark blue skipper shirt, brown outdoor shoes and may have had a brown Fjall Raven jacket with him.

A few noticeable things:
An elderly couple believed they saw him sitting on a bench thursday afternoon last week. Nothing seemed off, he was just sitting there, no weird behavior and whatsoever.
Police don't call this a crime case yet, everything seems possible. A possible suicide, a voluntary disappearance or maybe an accident.
Today they swamped a nearby pond, search dogs started barking closely to the pond, a possible sign that Edwin was or is in that specific area. Search will continue tomorrow. There is no sign of him or his belongings yet.

I hope they'll find him safe and sound soon. Its cold over here. Temperatures around 6 degrees and even colder at night.

He's been missing since october 31st.
