Maybe her mom had a meal or snack ready for her at the house for after AH got home from school, and it was still there when mom got home? i wouldn't think that would warrant an automatic call to the PD but ya never know!? IMO

Or a daily chore ? Getting the mail ?

"Fathers location not being made public because of respect of privacy"

To me that is very odd. It also raises red flags to me. Not that
He is involved in Any way but it says to me there could be a reason she was taken. What is he afraid of? Is he in witness protection?

He's afraid of something or someone maybe and this could vey
We'll be why mom called LE right awY.

IMO something more could be going on here.

Just a thought!

Weren't some or all of the 3 women in Cleveland taken during daylight hours?

Kyron Horman

And even Lindsay Baum (it was 9 pm at night in the summer, but reportedly still light outside)

Remember Hannah Truelove?

I believe so. Two were after school/work. He knew them and lived in the same city.

Conversely, if we look at Samantha, Mickey and Kenia - all taken and murdered at night by strangers (two of which were serial killers). All but one lived nearby, but most were transients of sorts traveling for jobs, etc.

Maybe he is remarried and has other children and he doesn't want his family dragged into this.

Could be anything.

They mentioned that she has dogs, right?

Perhaps the dogs hadn't been let out, and as a result had accidents in the house.

The absence of her backpack at home?

If her mom did not get home from work until 7 on certain days of the week, perhaps it was Abby's responsibility to get dinner ready on those days?

What is of the most interest to me is if the cause for alarm was raised by someone else. Was there another friend/acquaintance who seemed very worried, very early? Why? Had somebody already called mom raising the alarm prior to mom even leaving work that evening?

Maybe her dad lives in Mexico. She is Hispanic, correct? Even more so, maybe her dad has never been a part of her life.

Ali Lowitzer - I haven't followed her case in awhile, but this case brought me back to her thread.

If her father had a business in the area I can see why he might not want his face and name all over the media. Bad publicity can mean bad business. Doesn't mean he had anything to do with it or doesn't want his daughter found. JMVHO.

Im wondering about......her Birthday was coming up in just a few days. Could someone or some people been planning a birthday party of some sort for her?

Birthdays at this age are a very big deal for kids this age, and maybe her disappearance could be related in some way to some sort of planning of some sort of birthday party or birthday get together at either someone's house or an off-site location they were trying to arrange a party at?

Her missing date and birthday date just seem ironic to be so close together.
Maybe nothing, but just wondering if somehow it could be related in some way.

My amateur armchair analysis based on previous cases indicates to me that this person lives in or around Conway. He/she knows AH in some way or has interacted with her on a semi-regular basis (a clerk at a store, a neighbor in the area?). Someone has to know something or noticed someone acting erratically that day,not showing up for work, etc.

Yep, could definitely be beneficial to squeeze out of Abby's friends if there were any birthday festivities being planned-- with or without the knowledge of everyone's parents.

Thank you for this. I missed the presser today.

This makes my heart sink into the pit of my stomach. How many cases are still unsolved, let alone the victim is still not found and missing. I had so much hope with all the manpower there that this could be solved quickly.

Now that it is winding down and the heavy presence is subsiding it will become very quiet unless there is something major to report. The community must still remain vigilant because they have someone very dark and sinister lurking about. The perp was possibly a random visitor but it is more likely IMO that from what we know it was someone in the community who made Abby disappear.

The community should be noting and journaling perhaps anyone who sells their vehicle, quits a job, shaves their beard, leaves town or any other unusual behavior. What other things do members here suggest could be done by the public to possibly help? Or what are common behaviors that other perps have displayed that helped lead to their involvement?

I also think that the community should be checking and monitoring their property for animal or bird activity. I wonder if private search groups will form and if the family will hire private investigators or call in a special group like KlassKids.

So sad, the family & community are in my thoughts.

I hope I can ask this, but I don't have twitter....are most twitter posts strange? I am not talking about any one person in particular, it just seems like every tweet I read is strange and cryptic. Am I just old and not with the times anymore? Or maybe people speak different jargon than when I grew up? I'm only 40!

You're old ! :) But so am I . I only read twitter on WS :) haha
I think the reason they seem that way is it's a limited amount of characters, like 20 or 30 keystrokes only is all a ' tweet' allows so each one has to be worded in a way to get the most info into the smallest amount of space. Otherwise it would be an email. I think that's right.

I have and some of those posts concerned me. I wonder if the posts are the reason mom asked friends if they noticed if Abby was behaving any differently in the recent past. Glad they are rumor for now and hoping they remain just that!

I wonder if Abigail's mom asking her friends to report any recent changes they may have noticed in her was scripted by law enforcement/FBI and I wonder this because it's SOP (standard operating procedure) when looking at CIA (Criminal Investigative Analysis), especially in cases of possible homicide, suicide, or abduction, what would be classified as EDA (Equivical Death Analysis) if investigators are at all thinking they're dealing with a non-living victim, which statistically, we know is not in this dear Angel's favor. It sounds like a scripted question but one that has more meaning coming from a mom, maybe was meant to extract more of a sympathetic or friend response (if any of Abigail's friends felt any connection with her mom) than having LE ask it.

How disheartening!

How many broad-daylight cases can we think of (age not a factor)? I can think of 3 right now..Sierra, Jessica R. and Alanna. All 3 perps lived in the same city. I need to search for it, but that geographical profiling study is pretty fascinating.

I'd like to add Norma Lopez (Moreno Valley, CA) to the list. Her abductor/murderer lived in the same city and moved right after the crime. He was caught, though, and is now standing trial.

IMO, It is easy to say "name of the father" is living in Mexico but is in touched with LE :).

This is a missing minor child, people will look for the parents, what they do, what they say and where they are. Nobody wants to mention his name, or where he is or what he does.

i was thinking the father maybe in the Military with a high confidentiality on his person for LE not to say any informations on him.

my innocent guess is they want to know if AH could just be pregnant, left the house and scared. If there is any changes on her behavior - maybe like getting sick? vomitting? ...that's just my guess :)
