Gotcha. I have not looked into Terry's case all that closely. The below timeline posted online suggested that he was employed at brown and root June 1978. Their main office was in Houston afaik, but there was a Brown & Root plant in Ingleside back then. I think the local office was the one on Harbor Island, just to the east of Ingleside. The plant (where Oxychem is now located) was up the road (361) to the west from where he supposedly lived back then.
All info released in this case have been vague, and they release just a tiny bit at a time. I don't know why.

I think the info comes across as "vague" because it's very difficult to go back that far for records or people that are still alive and remember everything. For example the real Curtis Kimball (his mid 1980's AKA) also worked at the same company in Texas-however he did not know Rasmussen and had no idea how he got all his identifying information. So did Rasmussen dig thru the central records office of the company? Or find it by other means? There is just no way to know for sure now.

As I was going through the cases listed in the rule outs, I stumbled across this in Amber Crum's Charley Project page:

In 1986, investigators checked the fingerprints of a girl who was abandoned in California that same year. The girl matched Amber's general physical description and was about the right age. Their fingerprints did not match, however.

Do you know who that abandoned girl probably was? I'm not certain, but if I had to guess, that little girl abandoned in 1986 was none other than Denise Beaudin's daughter, D/L. They would have been only a few months apart in age.

It blows my mind how Amber might have been compared to two victims of TPR's, another layer to this case, and, at the time, investigators didn't even know that the little abandoned girl in CA and the MC might be/were connected.

Also, I believe Kimberly Yates was found alive and well, with her mother and sibling.

While researching for the identification of the middle child (and her mother) of the Bear Brook murder victims, I came across newspaper articles from July 1977, where a female skull was found in Pearl River County, Mississippi. Some of the articles state the female was thought to have been, “slain between Houston, Texas and Jackson”.

I inquired with the Pearl River County Sheriff Dept to see if this case was active or closed, but they wouldn't disclose that because I was not a member of law enforcement. Through alternative sources, I was able to determine this was indeed an open investigation. It appears they may have 'misplaced' the remains.

Any idea of how to get more spotlight on this case? And get it officially submitted into NAMUS so we can rule out this Jane Doe as the biological mother?

I agree. Great find. Even if unconnected to this case, this poor girl needs to get her name back and go home.

Came back to check on this thread because of Apache Jane doe being identified. I guess her father was half german half African American who was adopted at birth, which made her identification via genealogy very difficult. That gives me hope though, that MC can be identified as well.

Am I remembering correctly that some of the Middle child's DNA was from a family in Mississippi? Pearl River sounds familiar for some reason. Nevermind, yes I am remembering that correctly. I found it in Wikipedia. See below. GREAT FIND JUN. THIS SHOULD PEAK THE INVESTIGATORS' INTEREST!!!
