http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/Severed-Leg-Washes-Up-at-Sunoco-Pier.html."It's a strange situation," New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Julian Castellanos told the Courier Post. The leg was cleanly cut below the knee and had very little decomposition. No tattoo or other distinguishable marks and no ties to anyone missing that police know about. They're asking anyone with information to call the Missing Person's Unit at 609-882-2000, ext. 2554.

Sounds like it wasn't badly decomposed? Are there any recent missing persons cases going on in the area?

A woman and daughter were allegedly kidnapped yesterday around 2:00 pm in Philly. Interesting.

What time was the leg found?

I've looked around and can't find anything about the time it was found. I sure hope it wasn't the kidnapping case!

Permission Error on the Namus. I could not find anything on it. I wish once someone was identified the original news articles would be updated with the proper identity.
