GUILTY NJ - Jersey City, 10 mo baby found deceased on train track, April 2018 - Te'Myah Plummer

I apologize if I’m missing something on here, and online. But has there been any connection to another case being discussed on here: the mother EJ from Montana whom abducted her 9 month old, suspected of traveling by Amtrak?

[h=1]3 Babies Abandoned In One Week, 2 Die: NJ Takes Action[/h]
Three infants have been abandoned this past week in New Jersey, and two of them have died. One of them was found in a suitcase. Another was found in a duffle bag.

Now state officials are taking action.
New Jersey Department of Children and Families Commissioner Designate Christine Norbut Beyer is urging parents considering abandonment to find a safe haven for their children as an alternative to abandoning their babies.

Here are the three instances Beyer is referring to:

  • The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating a dead infant found in a suitcase near the PATH tracks last week in Jersey City. The body was found early afternoon just off the train tracks underneath The Tonnelle Avenue Bridge in Jersey City, the prosecutor's office said.
  • The Middlesex County prosecutor announced Monday night they found the teen mother of the newborn baby boy found abandoned Monday afternoon in Highland Park. The newborn baby boy has died, and the mother, 14, was charged with a juvenile offense that, had she been above 18, would have been a first-degree murder charge, Middlesex County prosecutor Andrew Carey said.
  • Police are asking for the public's help after a newborn baby was reportedly found in a duffle bag that was left on the home of a porch in Trenton. The baby was no more than two days old when it was found on Sunday, although it is unknown how long the baby was on the porch, according to News 12. The baby was taken to the hospital for treatment, and is in good health.

Child found in suitcase identified as missing 2-year-old girl

A dead baby girl found in a suitcase earlier this month has been identified as a missing 2-year-old girl from Virginia.

A Port Authority employee completing a routine inspection midday April 11 found the child's remains in a suitcase near train tracks in Jersey City, just a few miles away from lower Manhattan, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said previously.

The child was identified as Te'Myah Plummer, according to ABC station WABC in New York.

Police in Richmond, Virginia, had asked for the public's help finding the girl and her father, Travis Plummer, last month, according to a press release obtained by ABC News.

They had not been seen since August, according to the press release, when it was believed they had moved to Charlotte-Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, area or Jersey City.

The father is still missing, WABC reported. Plummer is described as 5-foot-8 and 250 pounds.

The child's cause and manner of death have not yet been shared publicly.

Nice neck tattoos. Check the west side.

How very sad, no matter what happened... no one deserves this. No one.

Just found this, awaiting extradition:

Father arrested in Puerto Rico after missing Richmond girl found dead in suitcase

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Police identified the body of a girl found in a suitcase near train tracks in New Jersey as a missing girl from Richmond, according to a release from the Hudson County Prosecutor's office.

The exact cause of Te’Myah Layauna Plummer’s death is still unclear, but police arrested her father in Puerto Rico. Travis Lamont Plummer was taken into custody without incident by FBI agents on April 19 and is currently awaiting extradition

[...]

Plummer has been charged with desecrating human remains, a second-degree crime.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in the case or anyone who remembers seeing something suspicious in the area where the baby was found to call the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit at 201-915-1345. Tips can be submitted anonymously here.

So 14 year old child was 13 when she conceived and Nobody else is being charged?!

:stormingmad:This precious child was so small they thought she was 10 months old?!?

Rest in peace baby Te'Myah. :rose:

No, it was at first estimation that they thought her being around 10 month old. Later autopsy and other studies showed she was slightly older than that.

Father of toddler found dead in suitcase in N.J. was responsible for his infant son's death in Richmond in 2004

The father of a toddler found dead in a suitcase in New Jersey this month was responsible for the drowning death of his infant son in Richmond more than a decade ago.

Travis Plummer, 37, awaits extradition from Puerto Rico for a charge of desecrating human remains in connection with the discovery of Te'Myah Layauna Plummer's body on April 11. Richmond police had reported her missing a month ago.

[...]

Authorities are still trying to determine the cause and manner of her death and had little new information to release about the case Tuesday.

Te'Myah's father, Travis Plummer, has a criminal history in Richmond that includes convictions in 2013 for child neglect, abduction and possession of a deadly weapon as a prisoner, according to court records. He also has multiple drug-related convictions, including for distribution of cocaine.

Plummer was convicted in 2005 of misdemeanor child abuse in the death of his 8-month-old son Etreyu Plummer, who drowned after he was left unattended in a bathtub.

Plummer had left Etreyu and another son, who was 3, in the bathtub in their Midlothian Village apartment on Oct. 29, 2004. He turned on the water and left the room.

Plummer told investigators that about 15 minutes after leaving the children unattended, he heard the older son screaming. He ran into the bathroom and found Etreyu floating face-down in the tub.

In March, the Richmond Police Department asked for help locating 37-year-old Travis Plummer and his toddler daughter, Te’Myah. The Police Department wrote on Facebook that the father-daughter duo went missing — but added that “detectives do not believe the two are in danger.”

She would have turned 2 in May, NorthJersey.com reported.
[.....]
....had been dead for multiple days before she was discovered. The girl’s body was swaddled in a blanket, completely dressed and showed no signs of physical abuse.

Mother of missing Richmond girl found dead in suitcase was told her daughter was living in N.C.: 'I thought someone was taking care of her'
http://www.richmond.com/news/local/...cle_f57d3a71-e9fe-5ccc-bf2f-4ae533029511.html

The last time Teshauna Cooper saw her daughter Te’Myah, the 1-year-old was sleeping in their North Richmond home in September.

Cooper said she left the house because her boyfriend, Travis Plummer, sent her to the store to get a soda.

“All I know is she wasn’t there when I got back,” Cooper said in an interview Wednesday at her home in Richmond.

Cooper said Plummer told her he had sent their child to North Carolina to live with a friend’s grandmother, telling Cooper he did so because he didn’t think she could raise the girl herself and wanted to wait until “we got more situated here.”
[.....]
About seven months later, Richmond police investigators came to tell Cooper that her only daughter had been found dead in New Jersey.....
[.....]
They have said they believe she died outside New Jersey, based on a preliminary investigation, but they aren’t saying any more than that.
