I have spent a lot of google time hoping to see any updates. The only thing I can contribute is a link to a map, but we really have little information on where they were going and where is husband.

"Sheila was following her husband from Los Alamos to Albuquerque when she lost her way while on the interstate, southbound at 1-25 and the interchange at 1-40 in a green Passat (NM license plate 621PGG)."
Wonder if NM has cameras along the Interstates.

What kind of cognitive disorder? Does she usually drive alone?

When you read about someone who really needs help....don't you wish you were there to assist them. I hope she pulls off to a gas station or restaurant and is able to tell a nice person that she needs help. My guess is that she will not be able to give all the info that is needed, but a call to 911 would be a start.

I guess they thought nothing of it, since she was supposed to be following her husband. It is not like she is driving the most heavy duty vehicle, either. A 2003 Passat? My grandmother was blown off the road in a similar vehicle.

I do wish she had someone with her....either driving the car or as a passenger.
I found a picture of a 2003 green VW Passat, but I do not know how to
add pictures to a post. It looked huge...!!! However, this is the link.....
