A recent article on Jessie~

There's really been a lack of media coverage.

https://www.facebook.com/notes/miss...epartment-to-finally-start-inves/448714839592 Here is a status Glendene posted regarding Jessie disappearance, I've been following Jessie's case for a while now and the police investigation is shocking, Just absolutely terrible. The North Las Vegas police let go of Jessie's case a long time ago. Also the way the US has acted towards Glendene is appalling. Especially since she's not allowed entry to the country and has been barred from crossing the border for a lousy 1986 marijuana conviction.

Jessie Foster has not been seen since March 29, 2006.

According to her mother, Grant, Foster was living in Kamloops, British Columbia, in the spring of 2005, when she began traveling to the U.S. In May 2005, the then 21-year-old ended up going to Las Vegas, Nev.

While in Las Vegas, Foster met a man and the two were quickly engaged to be married. The man was reportedly wealthy and the two lived together in a million-dollar home.

In 2006, Foster stopped calling her family. Concerned, Grant contacted her daughter’s fiancee and he allegedly said Foster had left him in April 2006. Grant promptly reported her daughter missing to police, but with few clues to follow, the case quickly went cold.

With local law enforcement hitting a dead end, Grant hired a private investigator and launched her own investigation. It was during that time that she discovered her daughter had been beaten, hospitalized and forced to work at an escort service before disappearing.

Today, Foster is considered Canada's most well-known missing human trafficking victim. She has become a poster-child for the crime both nationally and internationally.

"Jessie's disappearance has shed so much light on modern-day sex-slavery that it has helped us live with the pain of her being missing," Grant said. "It does not make up for it, but it allows us -- it allows me -- to continue on."

Foster is described as 5-foot, 7-inches and 120 lbs., with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Las Vegas Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. Foster's mother also maintains a website devoted to the case, which can be found at jessiefoster.ca. According to the site, a $50,000 dollar reward is being offered for information in the case.

http://lasvegassun.com/news/2014/fe...ins-alive-even-if-missi/#.UwdrtAFQw9k.twitter Another article by the Las Vegas sun about the recent search which took place in Las Vegas.

Snipped from the above link:

The search team huddled around the photograph of the homeless woman panhandling at Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard.

The picture gave them hope.

They studied the woman’s leathery skin and straight blond hair. Her narrow-set eyes hugged the bridge of a small, sloping nose hung above a pair of thin lips.

They glanced back at the pictures of a grinning 21-year-old Jessie Foster just before she went missing eight years ago in Las Vegas, then gasped. A lot can change in that time, but those lips, that nose — could it really be her?

The horrors of human trafficking
Kamloops native Jessie Foster still missing
Monday, May 5th, 2014

Snipped:

Human trafficking is a hidden epidemic, but a crime that's destroying the lives of innocent young women as they're bought and sold on the open market for profit. One of the victims is Jessie Foster, who went missing in 2006 and hasn't been seen since. On Saturday, during the Crime stoppers annual conference in Kamloops. Glendene Grant spoke about her struggles during the last eight years and the work she's done to help bring awareness to human trafficking.

I just watched The Vanishing Point, it's 25 minutes. I personally don't think that Jessie is still alive. I think I'd agree with her father, she's somewhere out there in the desert...

While i respect her fathers opinion some of the things he said were really cruel in saying that she is now 'getting eaten by snakes' and that Jessie fully chose this life even though the owner of the escort agency Jessie was working for and told Glendene that she didn't believe Jessie wasn't working there voluntarily and would show up regularly with bruises and cuts. When she told Jessie to 'go home' Jessie always said 'she was too afraid to leave.' It does seem like Jessie was coerced into prostitution and was extremely scared of Peter. After all he was extremely angry at Jessie for getting arrested and said she was too much of a problem. and Also the man that lured Jessie to Florida (Donald Vaz) is apparently a POI in two human trafficking task forces in Canada. And the friend that introduced Jessie to Peter Yvonne Hubrechtsen, has been arrested numerous times once even for 'two counts of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity' hmm, Human trafficking? Also Trish VanArsdale (AKA: Sierra) hated Jessie with a passion and even cut her hand with a knife during an argument. Jessie was deathly afraid of her and wouldn't even open the door in the house in case she was there. Also Jessie also gave her mother Yvonne's phone number in case she goes missing in Las vegas so she'll know who to call, Also Jessie also had a locker that was filled with pictures and phone numbers of Donald Vaz, Yvonne Hubrechtsen, Peter Todd ect. Almost as if she was giving clues.

I just finished watching it too; have not seen Trafficked No More yet. I try to follow when I can but have been so busy with other MP & UP cases. If I had more time; I could get consumed in Jessie's being missing.

It broke my heart to watch both of her parents; even her dad saying he doesn't feel she's alive any more. I pray they find her one day.

I grew up in North Jersey close to NYC now I'm down by AC where they said she was originally taken to. I know human trafficking is a huge issue that needs to stop.

Somewhat good news, Det. Dave Molnar has since retired. He was the one that is convinced Jessie ran off and started a new life, told Glendene the media wouldn't interested in Jessie's case cause there's nothing 'sensational' about it, never followed up on tips. And all the emails Glendene sent him about tips that came to her all bounced back as spam. He also claimed Jessie was not kidnapped and the victim of human trafficking, because “that happens in Las Vegas, not in North Las Vegas” Hopefully the new Sgt. Ryan actually starts INVESTIGATING the case like the North Las Vegas Police Department should have done 8 -1/2 years ago.

This case troubles me more than most I've read about. I can't stop thinking about it since yesterday when I first heard of it. The fact that all these players are known to law enforcement and walking the streets is crazy. They're probably all still involved in the same activities, or retired after several lucrative years in the business. The boyfriend obviously did it or knows who did it. It would be impossible for him to not know. How does LE not see that? It's plain as day. The person she lived with, who was the last person to see her and they believe that he knows nothing? On the very very small possibility that he didn't kill her, I have a couple other scenarios. Maybe she crossed one of her clients who was a very powerful person (ripped off some drugs, robbed him, didn't perform services). Maybe this person is way more dangerous than Todd and he had to simply keep his mouth shut and walk away from it. Therefore he doesn't cooperate with LE because the same person would kill him. Or scenario two is that Todd sold her in a big money deal. This transaction would have been for an incredibly large sum and all parties would have to be discreet. Again it's a scenario where if he reveals details then he's dead. I just think that if he didn't kill her then whatever happened is way over his head. He disappeared off the grid so one way or another, that looks bad and federal authorities should be trailing him. You would think. It's so sad.

Jessie's so called 'Fiance' wasn't her boyfriend at all. Yvonne Hubrechtsen (the recruiter) introduced her to Peter, Peter said he lived off a trust find and his family owns a string of McDonald's chains, (which is not true) Peter introduced Jessie to this glamorous and amazing lifestyle, showered her with gifts, engagement rings, took her to the finest spots in Las Vegas where she got to see celebrities like Justin timberlake, and pretty much spoiled her. However that relationship changed quickly, Peter is the one who forced Jessie to work at an escort agency (possibly to pay off debt) and beat her on many numerous occasions. Jessie was even hospitalized for a broken jaw at one stage. Jessie was also going up to undercover police officers probably trying to get arrested and possibly deported, but just got arrested. It's clear as day Peter knows what happened to Jessie. Glendene even told him face to face, ''you may not know where Jessie is today, but you know what happened, you either sold her or buried her.'' Peter had absolutely NO reaction. That's not how a innocent person would react. Peter also ripped down her missing person posters Glendene put up around the neighborhood and told Glendene THREE different stories about the day he last saw Jessie. I think there are two possible things that could have possibly happened that day. Peter beat Jessie to death at his $500,000.00 North Las Vegas house in north Las Vegas. Or he sold her internationally into the sex slave trade. One or the other, Also with Peters sudden 'disappearing act' He now lives in Texas apparently. His friends always gives Glendene his number when he moves or changes it.

Thanks for the reply Murky. I'm glad to have someone to discuss this case with. I didn't know that he ripped down the posters and that Glendene confronted him directly. Interesting. If she didn't willingly enter the sex industry then that means she believed that she was being spoiled for nothing. Taken on all those trips and everything. It seems more likely to me that she knew what she was getting into. But she didn't realize that if you have a pimp you can't ever leave the game. She got in over her head a little. She probably thought that Peter loved her and would understand if she wanted to stop working. Just my analysis though and I respect the opinions of those who disagree

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJbGMoqrnnU Here is a video of Glendene explaining when she confronted Peter and other interesting information.

Donald Vaz the individual who took Jessie on all these ''trips'' is a POI in two human trafficking task forces in Canada and however his brothers record is MUCH worse. Donald and Jessie got in a huge fight in the hotel in Manhattan about Donald losing all his money gambling and him suggesting Jessie to prostitute for him to get enough to get them home. Jessie called her mother crying and upset she also called her dad as well who all advised her to come home immediately. She ended up on a flight to Las Vegas because she wanted to celebrate her 21'st birthday there. Jessie called home everyday, but on March 28rd suddenly stopped calling. Somewhere in that day Jessie disappeared.

Thanks, that video was interesting and one I hadn't seen. But I watched the vanishing point and some other clips. and read a lot of articles. I just can't get over this case. I've never seen a case that seemed so open and shut but yet is not solved. It just couldn't be more obvious that foul play happened and we know who had to have done it. And he just moves out of his house and leaves town and boom that's it. Over. You just can't buy/sell and kill other people. Using them so carelessly like your property. This case is ridiculous and shocking. Gods judgement for human traffickers will hopefully be firm and just. But I guess we can't wait for that day, we've gotta keep searching and working.

Jessie's mom Glendene has just became aware of unidentified remains that were found in a field in Casey, Illinois last year. She thinks this one is a close one.

The Jane Doe is described as a white female in her 20’s or 30’s with black hair, was found on Oct. 18 of 2013. She was approximately 5’3” tall, about 140 pounds and had no tattoos.

This Jane Doe, was found in the state of Illinois (where Lindsay Marie Harris was found in 2008), Lindsay Harris case and Jessie Foster's cases are believed to be linked (or just very similar). Lindsay went missing on May 4, 2005 and Jessie was taken to Las Vegas on May 13, 2005.

Reconstruction photos were just released yesterday.

There is a striking resemblance IMO.
