time frame is a little shorter than the 3 months + estimated, but he drove a Lexus so he probably had the money for good dentistry.

UID has mtDNA on file, Spellman's profile says "Sample submitted - Tests complete". not sure if that means he is a rule-out by default.

You beat me to the post. Everything looks pretty good, but as you said, the timeframe is a bit short. I was also thinking that the cheap polo shirt and wallabees don't look consistent with a guy who drives a Lexus GS400 and a Porsche 911 and wears expensive watches. But of course, that's not a basis for ruling him out.

I thought Spellman too, WR. But I think you're right about the DNA...

I think the key to this could be the shirt he was wearing. From what I can tell, it is an Irish manufacturer.

I'm curious as to how he was even FOUND? In a cave only accessible by crawling and rocks piled up in front of it. Someone went to a LOT of trouble in an attempt to hide this guy.

I don't see anything in the UID's NamUs dental chart to indicate a decayed upper canine tooth (i.e., either #6 or #11), as is described of Tierro. The chart indicates that 6 and 11 are normal unrestored teeth, and nothing in the dental comments.

The UID's DoeNet dental comments indicate a possible root-canal on #3, but the NamUs dental chart doesn't show a root canal. It only mentions a filling in #3 (in addition to fillings in nine other teeth).

The only rule out on Nam Us is Kinsey Otto. If I remember correctly, there is at least one other UID found shot to death in Nevada in the process of getting a root canal.

Jason Derek Brown's name came up recently regarding another case (the Utah Mountain Man), but I saw a resemblance between him and this UID. Maybe there was another party involved in the robbery who double crossed him?

His entry appears to have been removed from the CharleyProject and the NCMA. Was he found?
