Another WS user put in a lot of work trying to track down some DNA. Detectives, perhaps you can reach out to the detectives for that John Doe's case in Clark County or the NAMUS case manager to get up to date on the effort to get LN's dna.

He does have a NAMUS page, the last name is just spelled a little differently. (sidenote, I think LN is of Basque descent. We have a large Basque population here in Nevada and almost all of them have long, hard-to-spell last names)

Have we seen any pictures of the shoes or car? I thought the shoes were posted. If we can get the location and position of the car I'd like to take a look at some map routes, etc.

An ad showing the shoes was posted, but not the actual shoes found. They either are being tested or the detectives don't want the photo posted in here, as I think they were brought up in the first few pages after the detectives came into the thread. The car info is also being held close to the chest, probably b/c there is no certainty that it is involved in this guy's death.

GGE - In the process of trying to find the ad in the early pages, I did find the "report" I'd read that the shoes were, in fact, Stadia shoes (not Standia, Skandia, etc.). It was posted by lcsodetectives here.

Since the thread has seen some new faces as well as visitors, it'd probably be good to have a FAQ page for this John Doe thread with summary, relevant photos, and the timeline by lcsodetectives.

I came to the thread to share Bernina received leads. She's doing amazing work.

EVERYONE is doing amazing work. This wouldn't be possible without all of the people who are helping out, and there are many of you.

I'll work on a list when things slow down to give thanks and recognition to those of you helping.

FYI: Media inquiries don't necessarily pan out. I've had many inquiries like this (I don't post them here), but they often determined it's not relevant to their regions.

Fingers crossed these ones and others in the works right now are interested!

This is the main reason why law enforcement people look down on us. Because they claim we interfere with their work. We hinder their work. We make more work for them.
