Any idea why they feel she may be in a “confused state”?

Sad news. :(

New York State Police tell 7 News volunteers searching for Danielle Hart found her body Saturday. Hart, 44, had been missing since January 17.
*****
State police say the Bureau of Criminal Investigations is awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.

Mary Williams-Diers, founder of WNY Missing & Unidentified Persons, who organized volunteer searches in the case, said mental distress was shared as a possible reason for Hart’s disappearance from the beginning.

“The family worked very hard not to make her mental health the highlight of things,” said Williams-Diers. However, her organization listed Hart as vulnerable in online posts “right out of the gate,” and shared with state police that Hart had a “fragile and deteriorated” mental state with paranoia.

My heart goes out to her family - she was greatly loved and I know everyone did all they could to help her.
