In a shocking and vile attack last year, a prowling pedophile plucked a sick 13-year-old girl from her Bellevue Hospital bed. He dragged the girl into an empty conference room, tore off her blue pediatric gown, and then beat, choked and violated her — leaving her bloodied and unconscious.

to make you physically sick. He goes to drop off his girlfriend and takes a stroll in the pediatric ward and rapes a child....

Ramirez put his head in his hands as she described how he allegedly slammed her up against a wall, ripped open her shirt and started fondling her. "I was up against that wall, scared," she said. "He told me not to move or he'd kill me."

When the then-13-year-old girl struggled to free herself, he started punching her in her damaged eye until she passed out, she said.

She awoke briefly to find him straddling her and choking her - but then she blacked out again.

The next thing she knew, the attacker was gone and she was lying in a pool of blood with her underwear and hospital gown around her ankles.

Rape tests were inconclusive, but her injuries left her horrified. "I saw myself all swollen with blood," she said. "My whole body hurt."

Stunning. Mysteriew, you said it best:

"Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story........... "

No shortage of these nauseating cases, is there? I just don't understand it.

He scrubbed. He soaked. And when the blood wouldn't come out, he threw his stained clothes in the trash.
But in the end, it may be his dirty laundry — shown to a jury yesterday, still covered, despite his efforts, with his victim's blood — that puts the alleged Beast of Bellevue behind bars for life.

A pair of blue Hanes briefs was hanging over the shower curtain, testified Detective John Savino. Nearby, a pair of black jeans soaked in a five-gallon bucket. Worst, though, was what was in the trash outside his door. "It's a blue, long-sleeved shirt," Savino said.

The detective held it up for jurors to see — its front smeared with rust-colored stains. Prosecutors will present lab witnesses today to testify that DNA tests confirm the stains are the victim's blood.
