Officials say human remains were found by a couple walking their dog on Monday afternoon. The couple discovered what appears to be a human skull on Carriage Road, which is an access road off of Norton Road.

WARNING - pic of the skull at links.

The scene is centered near West Main Street near Norton Street, around the area of the now-closed General Motors plant.

The couple says they were shed hunting, where you look for bones like deer antlers, but when they found a human skull, they were pretty freaked out.

“Just the dome of the head was poking out and it was just some white bone,” says Luke Wlasniewski. He says he grabbed a stick and started digging. “Once I got to the teeth and saw that, wow, this kind of looks familiar. I couldn't believe it so I just kept going."
They found the skull where the old Lehigh Valley Railroad used to be, off Carriage Street in the village. Now a hiking trail, Alfieri says they come here often. When they got home, they called police.

Remains Found in Monroe County Identified | wnep.com

I thought I found it, but the dates are like a month or so off, did another skull turn up in March? so confused.
The remains in your article were found in March 2019, and the skull in Honeoye Falls was found in January 2017, that's over two years apart. Besides the Doe from March 2019 was identified as Richard Kimock, who went missing in November 2017, 10 months after HF Doe was discovered, so I guess it's safe to say they are two different sets of remains :D

The NamUs page for the HF Doe is still up.
