City police are also continuing the search for a woman with physical and developmental disabilities who has been missing since 4 p.m. on Oct. 19.

Linda Holgerson, 57, of Clinton Avenue, was last seen when she was dropped off by a friend at the Bank of America on Broadway, between Henry and Van Deusen streets, to cash a check, police said. Police said they believe Holgerson got into a white or light colored Dodge Caravan, which was parked on Van Deusen facing Broadway.

Holgerson is a client and employee of Gateway Industries, which serves people with developmental disabilities, and her employers told police her disappearance is troubling because she never missed work without calling first.
Holgerson is white, 5-foot-7, and approximately 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, police said.

City police continue to look for a 57-year-old woman who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Sgt. Wayne Maisch said on Saturday that police passed out fliers and spoke to passers-by Friday near the Bank of America branch on Broadway, where Linda Holgerson last was seen exactly two weeks before, and they received some leads that are being pursued. But no hard information about Holgerson's wherabouts has been developed, Maisch said.

Holgerson, who lives on Clinton Avenue and has both physical and developmental disabilities, hasn't been seen since a friend dropped her off on Oct. 19 near the Bank of America branch. Police believe Holgerson may have, soon after, gotten into a white or light-colored Dodge van that was parked on Van Deusen Street, facing Broadway.

[IMG] Holgerson has been described by authorities as white, 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information that may help investigators is asked to call city police at (845) 331-1671 or the department's tip line at (845) 331-4499.

This poor woman...........have many questions firstly did anyone from her place of employemnt or at an adult center (if she she belonged to one) quit and leave town jsut after or just before she went missing.
Whose driveway is it that Linda was found ? Did she have any reason to be in the vicinity at the very least of the driveway? Was the security tape reviewed for the whole day that Linda was in the bank ? How about her phone records?

So sad......am sure there is a very special place in Hell for who ever did this.
