CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (CNN News/WKRC) - A New York man who saved over 20 people during a deadly snowstorm has been rewarded for his actions.
Jay Withey, a mechanic in Cheektowaga, New York, has been given two tickets to Super Bowl LVII courtesy of the Buffalo Bills.
n Christmas Eve, Withey broke into a school building for warmth and shelter, after being trapped in the dangerous snow storm over the holiday season. Withey went back into the storm to bring other stranded people into the building.
"He definitely saved some lives that day," said Brian Gould, Cheektowaga Police Chief, at the time.
