I came across this guy and he totally reminded me of this John Doe, so I thought I would give the John Doe a Thread. Joseph Simons went missing from long island in 1991.. I feel this guy looks like the UID even his nose turns to the left like the UID.

Also reminded me of the story of guy that went missing in Long Island a while ago, then became a homeless person in a park in Manhattan and died on a park bench..he was recently Identified.. I cannot remember him now.. anyway.. that story went through my head when I saw Joseph and the UID. That could of happened here.

Going back and forth between UID and MP John Simons.....can't seem to make up my mind. He has the kind of square shin....but shin of UID seems to be longer....but it's a PM pic...so hard to see.... What is the reason you think that this person could have Marfan Syndrome?

Yeah I was wondering about the Marfan Syndrome too? How can someone tell if someone has that by looking at a headshot?

Could the deceased be Douglas S. Mann, missing since February 7, 1994 from Dunedin, Pinellas County, Florida. Fits in the age range and the height is only 2 inches off.

There is only one grainy picture of him, but I think his ears, the jawline, the eyebrows and the narrow bridge of his nose (upper part) is likely.

The "problem" is both UID and MP have DNA tests complete, so you would think there is a rule out by default. Still not 100 % sure if it always works that way.

Either John Simmons or Douglas Mann look like matches.

It's weird... to me, the decedent's cheek bones seem to match John Simmons more, but the decedent looks like he has olive or tan skin. I can also see the decedent's long eyebrows matching Douglas—and even though he was from FL, the interesting tidbit about him possibly being among the homeless population in NYC would still fit.

Yeah I do see resemblance in Both.

I think the nose looks like Simmons because joseph looks like he has a crooked nose with One nostril larger than the other and the John Doe seems to have the same thing going on with his nose shape. Just something about him reminds me of Simmons..
but same with Douglas his jaw.. iam trying to look at ears.

and yes it is interesting about Douglas w the homeless in NYC bit.
