Anyone ever heard of this case? Is there any additional info?
I found this...
I am sorry I didn't provide a link, I cannot not copy and paste b/c my mouse is messed up. I know that foul play was suspected in the case, but was not able to find anything else, or any updates. She is so beautiful! My prayers are with these little ones.
What a beautiful baby. Was she 5 yrs when she disappeared? If so, that baby photo doesn't do a whole lot of good as far as identifying her. Her eyes won't change but she probably doesn't look anything like she did as a baby. She would be what now....9 yrs?
So this little girl disappeared when she was with her dad? I wonder if she was outside playing by herself? Sure no info available. I hope that she is found and returned to whatever parent has custody of her.
Here's her NCMEC poster:
This says she was only 2 when she disappeared. That would make her 13 today. No info on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Here's some info from the Charlie Project:
Details of Disappearance Princess was last seen at her family's residence on Webb Avenue in the New York City borough of the Bronx on June 15, 1996. Officials with New York's Administration Of Children's Services (ACS) had been investigating the Perez home for several months prior to Princess's disappearance. ACS workers last saw the child on June 15; she was in the company of her father, Antonio Perez, at the time. ACS officials returned to the Perez family's residence twice after that date and were told by her mother, Karen Perez, that Princess was living in California with a relative. Karen's statement was investigated and Princess was not located. Law enforcement began inquiring into the child's whereabouts shortly thereafter, but Karen stood by her story.
Antonio was imprisoned for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after Princess disappeared. He told authorities that Princess was ill and died of natural causes in mid-June 1996. Antonio claimed that he buried his daughter's body somewhere in New York City. Investigators maintained that Antonio did not fully explain why he buried Princess instead of calling paramedics or authorities after her death. He agreed to divulge Princess's location to law enforcement in 1998 while serving the remainder of his DWI conviction. Antonio reportedly led authorities to Woodlawn Cemetary in the Bronx; the West Side Highway in the borough of Manhattan; and an unidentified location in the borough of Brooklyn. Princess was not discovered at any of the sites Antonio specified.
Princess's two older sisters told ACS officials that they saw Princess lying on the floor of their family's residence in June 1996. The sisters stated that Princess was motionless and her lips were blue. The children said that they saw a garbage bag in their home a short time later; it appeared to contain a small body. Karen initially denied her daughters' accounts and continued to insist Princess was in California, but recanted her previous statements to authorities in 1998. Karen then agreed with her older daughters and said Antonio placed Princess in a bag and buried her somewhere in Brooklyn. The older Perez children were removed from Karen's custody by ACS officials in 1998 and placed in foster care. Antonio was charged in Family Court the same year with abusing his older daughters by murdering Princess in 1996. He pleaded innocent to the charges, stating Princess died of natural causes. Criminal charges against Antonio have not been filed. Princess has never been located.
Today, June 15, 2007, marks the eleventh anniversary of Princess Perez's disappearance. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Princess Perez, please call the New York City Police Department at 646-610-6914. (you can remain annonymous)

Princess has been missing for 18 years today.
Her family hasn't provided a DNA sample? What's up with that? Does the fact that DNA "sample is currently not available" mean that the family hasn't, or can't provide one to which DNA from any future discovery of a body can be compared?
DNA is now available
