These are all the ruleouts however their several UID's from VA that appear on nearly ever MP in NAMUS as a rule out. The VA UID's started showing up on many MP ruleouts when NAMUS 2.0 was released. So I would not go as far as to say Valerie had ties to VA its more of a malfunction in NAMUS.

Wow Folie this is a great find! I had never seen this before. I wonder if it's new?. I never found any information on her other than what I have posted. You have no idea how much I searched. Great find!

The information came from the 2 newspaper articles their was a little more info not a huge amount but a little.

These are all the ruleouts however their several UID's from VA that appear on nearly ever MP in NAMUS as a rule out. The VA UID's started showing up on many MP ruleouts when NAMUS 2.0 was released. So I would not go as far as to say Valerie had ties to VA its more of a malfunction in NAMUS.

It's something in NAMUS that is triggering the UID's to be compared around the board the one I see the most is UP8419 (Isle of Wright) and UP 12683 (Newport News).

Here is the list again with the UID links, I would be Leary to say there was a connection with Valerie and VA due to the NAMUS rule outs ... but at the end of the day they are rule outs so you can exclude them.

Circumstances:
On Monday March 2nd Valerie and her father were at home watching television. At approximately 11:15 pm Valerie went upstairs to bed, 15 minutes later her father called out to say good night but there was no reply. After Valerie did not respond her Father was concerned and went to check on Valerie she was not in her room. The printing firm where Valerie worked was contacted, she had not arrived at work nor had been heard from. Valerie did not take any clothes from her room nor is it believed she had money on her. NYCPD was in contact with about 500 persons, with no resolution in finding Valerie.

The few months prior to Valerie's disappearance had been tough her Mother had become seriously ill, her marriage plans had fallen apart, and in February Valerie had been mugged close to her home in Long Island City.

Missing was depressed and stated to her Father that she might as well jump off a bridge

I was looking over the thread again and noticed the News paper article you posted again thank you for this find!! It has her weight at 145lbs but Namus has her down at 100lbs. That's a big difference.

Also another thing I noticed . The news paper article mentions the she went missing on March 2nd and on Namus mentions March 4th.
I came across a calendar for 1981 March 2 was a Monday and the 4th was a Wed

Temp for thoses days would be in the lower 40s and upper 30s
