Unless I've overlooked something, I don't think we can conclude the victims were "refrigerated". One was for sure. The other two were frozen, it's true. But that could be a result of being left outside in the elements.

That's true. We shouldn't conclude that. However this article says (@ Anna Marie Patterson.)

" An autopsy revealed that she had been killed within 48 hours of her disappearance. Disturbingly, the condition of her body clearly indicated that the killer had kept it refrigerated for nearly a month. "

So I was thinking maybe he kept them in a refrigerated trailor. Just speculation on my part. I should probably delete the above post so people don't assume that's correct. Thanks Bessie. I thought I'd have fresher eyes today and I do but my brain is muddled! ;)

This is basically the map of the eight that's in the CrimeBeat article - just a different color. No names on the dots but it might be possible to figure them out.
 
Geraldo Rivera also covered the case at least twice - once on his show Geraldo and then again on Now It Can Be Told.

Sandra Hernandes 25 (missing 1992)

Brothers Anthony and Nathanial Cook were both long haul truck drivers who killed at least nine people in the 70's and early 80's in Toledo Ohio.

Investigators believe there may be more. They were known to travel Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Texas.

If we could figure out who belongs to each dot, it would be so helpful! Any ideas? If we can do that and narrow down who's who and where...then we can enlist the help of a websleuth map master Seaslugg (if he is willing) to give us some detailed satalitte map images of the locations.

I started a spreadsheet from the information that's been gathered, and then added the data to this map. I have to finetune it, but it's a beginning.

However he was ruled out. I found a couple articles but the links didn't work. This one does.

Dennis Ketzel was ruled out by DNA. He was charged and convicted of raping his 5 and 7 year old daughters and apparently died in prison. I haven't found a cause of death yet.

I found a cached copy of the article that says Ketzel's DNA was not a match. Hope the link works.

Mahoning County Coroner cold case investigator Courtney Bouchie said this week the DNA of Dennis G. Hetzel, also known as Wesley C. Carlisle, of Knoxville, did not match with the DNA of the man who killed Sharon Lynn Kedzierski.

“Based on the evidence, it’s very, very likely he was with her in the days before her death,” said Bouchie, who is currently trying to identify two local victims. “However, he was not the perpetrator. Dennis Hetzel’s DNA did not match the offender’s DNA, so it is an ongoing investigation.”
