2012 - AG DeWine issued press release announcing LE had discovered “a major marijuana grow site”in Pike County with suspected ties to a Mexican drug cartel. During the discovery, 1200 plants were destroyed by investigators and two abandoned campsites were located, which they believe had belonged to Mexican nationals.

• Dana Rhoden (age 37): Five (head).

• Clarence “Frankie” Rhoden (age 20): Three (head). Two were “contact wounds” as indicated by soot from the gun on his skull.
• Gary Rhoden (age 37): Three “contact” wounds (head).
• Hanna Rhoden (19): Two (head).
• Kenneth Rhoden (age 44): One (right eye).

Approx 7:55 am: Billy Jo Manley runs next door to trailer of Frankie Rhoden & Hannah Gilley. Door is locked, she hears toddler inside, asks him to open the door. She then discovers the bodies of Frankie & Hannah. She takes the children outside to her car.

7:15 - 7:53 am: Sometime after discovering the bodies, Billy Jo Manley calls her brother James Manley. He and his son go to the home of Dana Rhoden and discover she is dead. According to his wife, James doesn't go further into Dana's home, though he can see her legs and hear a baby crying.

8:07 am: Deputy Chandler arrived "at a neighboring residence where he was flagged down by a subject. Deputy Chandler advised that he needed multiple ambulances due to multiple down at multiple residences."

8:12 am: Deputy Music, Deputy Ball, and Major Evans all arrived "on scene" where they were approached by [Redacted] (later revealed it was James Manley) who stated: "there are two more dead people here." [Redacted] pointed to the residence at 4077 Union Hill.

12/30/19 Update: Entry Granting Defendant's motion to extend time for filing pretrial motions to 1/31/20 filed.
1/21/20 Update: State still working to give them a more detailed summary by the end of this month. Scheduling a meeting with just attorneys of both sides to go over evidence to make sure everyone has everything on both sides. Nash agrees that is what they agree to. State says it’s the goal to have it all finished by end of this month (January). Judge says if there is a lot of discovery filed at the end of the month, will defense file a motion for more time. They said yes. State’s Supplement Discovery filed. 2/10/20: State files Response to defendant's Motion for Order appointing coordinating discovery attorney.
3/14/20: According to the Ohio Dept. of Health, Ohio’s COVI-19 pandemic will peak around that time or in early May. Courts will continue to scheduled things for their calendars.
5/19/20 Update: Motion, entry & certification for appointed counsel fees; Motion #56: Defendants' motion to proceed pursuant to Ohio R.Crim.P.42(E) regarding funds for defense experts filed. Motion #57: Defendant's motion to extend time for filing pretrial motions. Next pretrial hearing on 6/30/20 @ 1:30pm.

What it feels like is that everyone, no matter how much the public hates them and believes they're guilty, everyone deserves the right to put forth a defense under the laws of the USA. I don't think you have much faith in the justice system, in the average man and woman. Don't kill the messenger that points out that, unless the W's plea bargain, there will be a defenses put forth. Those could definitely included blaming others for the murders. It will be up to the prosecution to poke holes and sink those defenses. Beyond a reasonable doubt is a heavy burden and involving aggravated capital crime times 8, it's very serious indeed. AJMO and I'm one who believes in my heart the guilty have been charged and are headed to trial.

Absolutely, but I still want them have a fair trial because I do not want anyone's rights trampled, and if a fair trial there is less chance of appeal or re-trial. It protects everyone.
As new evidence comes out old theories will be revisited and rehashed, because we learn that theory was way off or we know now it was right on track. I am glad we have a forum to discuss these events and evidence, to share therories, ideas and questions. Lets all remember not everyone has been here from the beginning let them speak and ask questions and contribute. Last, lets remember we do not all have to agree on the guilt of the Wag4 or that evidence is beyond a reasonable doubt, this is a discussion board everyone's opinion is valued. If someone ask questions, brings up a valid point or disagrees that the wag4 are guilty it does not mean they are victim bashing.

Wasn’t Gary and Chris Sr dragged to the back room? I really feel like the Wagners used the movie as training on how to go room to room executing anyone they saw excluding the animals and children.

Two different caliber guns to shoot Gary was in the prelim autopsy. I think Gary walked in on them after Kenny dropped him off as they were removing evidence and cleaning up the crime scene so they both turned and shot.

There really is no other motive for Kenny being killed. I don't think Gary was supposed to be at Chris's that night and Kenny bringing him home added two victims. I really do think if Kendra, Miranda and Donald had followed through with their plans there would be 11 victims, not 8.

Kenny would have noted and remembered any cars parked at or close to Chris's house that night and probably knew who was in it.

If coming North on 23, you would have the light at Walmart, then go to 4th light and make a right. (South Market St) At the 1st 4 way stop, make a left.. this is Second St. (Courthouse on corner on right hand side) So, 5 minutes tops.

Is it possible that KR had a security system that also monitored CR's place? IIRC, many cameras etc had to be removed from KR's location.

I receive phone alerts if an animal/person etc cross my cameras. Maybe that wasn't available in 2016.

We have a security system and it can alert us on the phone and anyone in the family could scan the code in for the system and see all of our 8 cameras. 2016. Phone alerts also. It wasn't that expensive and works good, but there's more modern systems with more storage that I'd like to have. I'm not sure if anything else has been mentioned about the W's taking the cameras? DVR/CCTV device?
