An Oklahoma attorney is in jail after police busted him in sting operation attempting to pay $400 in order to have sex with a fictitious five-year-old girl.

Michael Lunday, 55, was taken into custody at his home on Thursday after the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office says he drove to the town of Mustang, Oklahoma in order to have sex with a fictitious five-year-old girl, according to a press release.

"Investigators were contacted Thursday morning by a confidential informant (CI) who advised she had been in communication with, and was requested by Lunday to arrange a meet for sex with an underaged child," the press release stated.

Authorities swooped in and made an arrest after Lunday gave the informant $400 for the sex act which he believed would be split between the informant and a fictitious foster parent that was providing the child.

Lunday is currently being held at the Canadian County Detention Facility facing charges of Lewd Acts with a Child Under 12 and Soliciting Child Prostitution.

Lunday was reported to have brought condoms and lubricant for the sexual encounter and had expressed an interest in watching child p[redacted] before the meeting.

As of Monday morning, the Oklahoma Bar Association website lists Lunday as an active member in good standing who was admitted to the bar in 2007.

Lunday, an Oklahoma City based attorney was arrested for Lewd Acts with a Child Under 12 and Soliciting Child Prostitution. He was transported to the Canadian County Detention Facility, and his bond was set at two hundred thousand dollars. Investigators are continuing their investigation to see if there are more victims.

“This sting operation was carried out in a very professional manner by my investigators, and the confidential informant’s role in Lunday’s arrest was paramount in making the operation a success,” said Chris West, Canadian County Sheriff.

If any crime deserved the DP, it's this one. Targetting the most innocent members of our society to abuse for personal pleasure, warrants it in every way. These people are freaking monsters.
