Shayliah Toombs is almost eight months pregnant, but family member say she hasn't been seen since Sunday.

Toombs' mother, Twyla Taylor, said she became concerned after she received a troubling text from her daughter on Sunday morning.

Taylor said the text indicated that Toombs was in trouble and needed help.

Taylor said she tried calling her back immediately.

"I've been trying to call her and get a hold of her ever since, but her phone's been off and she hasn't been on Facebook, and she's normally on Facebook every single day," she said.

On Wednesday afternoon, detectives and police were at Toombs' apartment looking for leads.

Arrest made in missing pregnant mother’s death

PURCELL, Okla. - Officials confirmed the body found inside of a parked vehicle along I-35 Wednesday is that of a missing pregnant woman.

According to her mother, 23-year-old Shaliyah Toombs, vanished Sunday night. She was eight months pregnant with her third child.

[...]

“The sheriff's office received a call from the Lighthorse Police Department, The Chickasaw Nation Police Department, that a gentleman had approached one of their officers claiming his pickup was on I-35 out of gas, and that there was a dead body inside,” said Grace.

By Wednesday afternoon, Oklahoma City police were at Toombs' southwest Oklahoma City apartment collecting evidence.

Wednesday night, it was confirmed just to the family that the body was Toombs'.

Grace said they do have a person in custody and that it's the same man who told police about the dead body in his vehicle. He was arrested on accessory to the fact.

Investigators are also looking for other suspects, but they won’t release any names.

“Anytime somebody's left in a vehicle for several days, that's definitely suspicious, especially with someone driving the vehicle around,” Grace.

The cause of death is still under investigation.

[h=1]Officials: 3 arrests made in connection to Oklahoma mother’s death[/h]
Officials say Toombs' death is being investigated as a homicide.
The driver of the truck, Daniel Vasquez, was arrested with a complaint of accessory after the fact. However, investigators also hoped to speak with two other people believed to be involved in the case.
On Saturday, deputies with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas took 30-year-old Joshua Finkbeiner and 42-year-old Staci Harjo into custody.

After they were taken into custody, they were turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for questioning.
Following the interviews, Finkbeiner and Harjo were arrested on complaints of first-degree murder related to Toombs' death.
They are currently awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.

Joshua Finkbeiner, 30, of Morrilton and Staci Harjo, 42, of Oklahoma City each face two counts of first degree murder.
Investigators have yet to release how the two may know each other, or the pregnant victim.

In a brief conversation, Finkbeiner's soon to be ex-wife told us she had no clue how her husband knew any of the individuals involved.

"This is a very complex and strange case," Tompkins said.

Apparently they thought she stole their backpack.....

Three people are arrested for murder of a pregnant woman, 23, who sent a frantic text to her mother before she was found dead in a pick-up truck saying 'they gonna kill me mom, help me'

Shaliyah Toombs was 23-years-old and seven months pregnant with her third child, when Joshua Finkbeiner, 30, and Staci Harjo, 42, appeared at her house in Oklahoma City on April 29.

The mother's acquaintance, Daniel Vasquez was already at Toombs' home when the pair arrived looking for a backpack that they alleged she had stolen, according to The Oklahoman.

According to Vasquez, he later told investigators that Finkbeiner and Harjo forced him and Toombs into a pickup at gunpoint.
