UNSOLVED OK - Tulsa, WhtFem, 20s, in photo, LE seeks ID, May'08

The comments are no longer on the NewsOn6 site - granted that post was from 2008. :(

Leaves one to wonder if that lead panned out or not?

There was a short lived fad (two maybe three years of popularity at most) for young women far too young to be fully grey dyeing their hair grey, but I can't remember the actual start and finish of the timeframes involved. There is still the occasional girl that decides to do it.

Edited to add: Here's a linl to a huffpo article from 2010 about the trend http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tove-hermanson/grey-hair-as-fleeting-tre_b_673201.html

I read about soldiers trading pictures of gore for pictures of people's girlfriends & other related material...I think there was something going on with these pics it came to light via military justice.

BTW the branches DO discharge soldiers for illegal activities like child p0rnography and associated activities. The silence about this image might have to do with ferreting out others in the service who are engaged in related activity.

This was in the "comments" section on the first picture you posted - on that NEWSon6 site...don't know how true it is...

"Well my the person that came forward was told the reason why they are looking for this woman is a house was raided based on the fact the man living in the house was drugging and raping women. Not all of the victims have came forward and they are afraid she may be a victim of this man. I wish the news or the police would of disclosed this it would of narrowed the field down of who she could be."

I think this is what the commenter was talking about. It kept saying she "not wanted" as a criminal. She was apparently really a rape victim.

Man given 60-year term in rape (6/25/2010 Tulsa World, Tulsa, OK)

The video evidence showed Butcher sexually penetrating a female — whose identity is unknown to law enforcement officials handling the case — who appeared to be in her early 20s, said Assistant District Attorney Jack Thorp.

The rape counts asserted that the victim was "unconscious of the nature of the act," and Thorp maintained that the video showed that the defendant knew she was unconscious.

A woman who was identified in a 2009 police affidavit as Butcher's girlfriend could not identify the woman on the video but recognized that the setting was her own Tulsa apartment.

Thanks for posting this article. I thought she looked drugged when I first saw the photo :( It also makes sense that she may not have wanted to come forward.

Here's a quote from him in an article about tattoo shops...

College Ink draws new art for Stillwater (Daily O'Collegian, Stillwater, OK 11/20/2006)

"I'm here because it's my passion," Butcher said. "I want people to be out there and someone walks up to them and knows exactly where their tattoo came from - in a good way. Just because my name's Butcher doesn't mean I tear people up."

I'm assuming he killed himself in prison. Good riddance...

That's the way I take it, too. Either that or was killed by another inmate or somehow became ill in prison.

I have a bad habit of skimming news stories for the main details...

I just noticed that he was charged for hiding a stolen bottle of Viagra.
That could have been useful to plenty of other guys. Like someone who wasn't an ink-covered, creepy rapist.

Not identified, but not in NAMUS either.
Is LE still seeking her ID?

I found someone who looks like her.

She claims he drugged and raped her.
She wanted to know if there was video of her.
She says she was 16 at the time.
She doesn't mention contacting LE.

It may not be her because the picture is 15 years old. It's not hard to find this info.

Yeah, I think this could be the same info I found, I wasn't confident about posting it so I DBM'd it. I'm glad you have - thanks!

As she mentioned hearing about the other victims at the time of the trial, I wasn't sure if she'd already seen the photo above and knew it wasn't her (I didn't get as far as finding a picture for comparison). The only report about the case I could read mentioned one unidentified victim - I'm in the UK so sleuthing US cases can be a bit tricky as a lot of stuff gets blocked. So again I wasn't sure if the girl in the photo above related to the conviction or not.

Assuming we are talking about the same info, I think she was incredibly brave to say what she did. I hope it gave her a little closure, and that she and his other victims are still with us and doing OK. Dreadful crimes and I am not at all sorry to hear of his demise!

Her hair, brows and nose look similar.
I'm not good with these ID's, but I did check the things that were prominent in UID photo.

There are photos available here that may not be available in the UK.

That's interesting - and the girl in the photo certainly looks young enough to be 16 to me. I'm glad you were able to find a photo. I guess it now boils down to whether or not LE have already ID'd the girl in the photo above.
