Do you think Angela Chan might match this bit of skull found in eastern Linn County, OR? She went missing in 1989 and the skull fragment was found in 1996 and had been there several years.

The Linn county line is about 25-30 miles west of Redmond. The map shows Linn county outlined in red. Redmond is just to the right. https://goo.gl/maps/FSHll

    Namus lists two ruleouts:

    Brenda Condon 1962 Pennsylvania
    Barbara Gallagher 1957 Oregon

You'd think they would have checked against somebody that close, but it is in the next county. The DNA they have is incomplete so it wouldn't have been an automatic match.

Interesting theory. The killer could have easily taken her from highway 20 over to 126. I wonder exactly where in Linn County she was located? Is there a thread for the jane doe? I know the ME reads in our UID forum.

I am very familiar with that area. My sister lives in Redmond, and I've been to that spot at Cline Falls where her car was found. Cline falls is just outside of Redmond in the direction of where the skull fragment was found.

So it is very plausible that the killer took her to Linn County, dropped off the body, and then returned to town in her car, dropping the car off at Cline Falls, and then walking the rest of the way home.

I didn't find one for the UID. Should I start one?

Angela's now been missing more than 25 years. May her family have answers soon.

Here's an article from last month; no new evidence though her sister believes its no mystery what happened to Angela.
