Police search for missing Eugene man who made 'suicidal statements'

MISSING: Poissonniez, Christopher Robert 33 year old white male of Eugene

DATE/TIME:June 29, 2018.

Police are asking for public help in locating Christopher Robert Poissonneiz. He was last seen on June 20, 2018 in the Gateway area of Springfield. He was driving a silver 2005 Mazda 3 four door sedan bearing Oregon license 606 HHN. The vehicle is also unaccounted for at this time.

Mr. Poissonniez is known to have purchased a handgun just prior to his disappearance and has made suicidal statements. He is described as a white male 6’04” 180 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information in this case should contact the Springfield Police immediately.

Rangers find missing Eugene man's car; man still missing

Springfield Police say a park ranger discovered the silver 2005 Mazda 3 four-door sedan police had been searching for in connection to Christopher Robert Poissonneiz, a missing person reported by family and feared to be suicidal.

Police say Poissonneiz is still missing.

The body of a missing Eugene man, Christopher Robert Poissonneiz, has been found.

Poissonneiz, 33, is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Springfield police said.
