Police seek parents of girl who wandered into Northeast Portland home
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public’s help finding the family of a lost 3-year-old girl.

Police responded to Northeast 28th Avenue and Northeast Prescott Street at around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a 3-year-old girl who wandered into someone’s house.

The 911 caller did not recognize the child and could not get the girl say what her name was.

Officers say the child is safe and they’re searching the neighborhood for her home.

As of 7:30 a.m., officers had searched 14 blocks near where the girl was found. They woke up neighbors to talk to them, but no one seems to know who the girl is.

Police say the child is white with dark hair and is wearing yellow and pink pajamas.

Anyone who recognizes the girl should call 911.
