Missing Iowa woman's car found in Siskiyou County
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information in regards to Tarren M. Wolsman age 32, who was reported missing on June 8th, 2015.

Wolson was last seen at her home in Missouri Valley, Iowa on May 10th, 2015 and has not been seen since.

On May, 31, 2015 a USFS employee had located her vehicle, a white 1999 Mercedes-Benz on Forest Service Road 13N35 located in the Happy Camp area.

Told her mom she was going on a road trip to OR, mom last heard from her May 23. Unknown if she was traveling alone or not

Based on some old articles, I think her name is Wolsmann with two Ns, maiden name Zook, previous drug and conduct-related arrests. Was or is married and had a son in 04.

Not another missing woman in the Emerald Triangle!

Other than just exploring and running out of gas, I can't imagine what she could be doing on that road other than something marijuana related. The National Forest is full of grows, as most of us on this thread know. It's very dangerous, especially for women. Another possibility is that someone harmed her and hid her car there. I'm not optimistic.

Here is the location of FS Rd 13N35 where Tarren's car was found (not the exact location of her car). It's not terribly far off the highway, compared to some FS roads, but it's still remote. You may have to adjust the map scale to see the relationship to Happy Camp.

Good research. You're right about all this, but I think there may be two sons, unless one is a stepson. Poor kids.

Thanks m_brown. Unless Tarren has family who can come out here and raise the profile of this case like Danielle Bertolini's and Sheila Frank's have, I fear this will fade from the news. I'm sure LE will do what they can, but we know how daunting these forests are.

I'd be interested to know if the car had gas, and if her wallet and phone are still in the car. Are there any fingerprints besides hers? I also wonder how big an area they searched. And where was she when her Mom last heard from her? Did she come through Oregon? Questions that probably won't be answered publicly.

I just hope she's been on an adventure, but it's been too long.

FOUND SAFE!!!! Wonderful and unexpected news!!

Reported on the 10:00 pm KOBI channel 5 news just now:

Tarren was found safe on Thursday, sitting along the Klamath River about 15 miles west of Happy Camp. She was flown by helicopter to Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon where she is in fair condition tonight.

It looks like this was reported earlier today on KDRV. The part about her car being found 100 miles away is an error, as pointed out on the comments. Apparently KDRV mixed up two stories.

SISKIYOU COUNTY, Ore.-- 32-year-old Tarren Wolsman is confirmed to be in fair condition at Rogue Regional Medical Center.

Siskiyou County Sheriff, John Lopey, said Wolsman was found on Thursday at Ti Bar along the Klamath River. Sheriff Lopey said Wolsman was in distress and had to be airlifted out of the area.

The sheriff's office says will be conducting a follow up investigation to find out the exact circumstances of the situation, and if there was any criminal activity.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office (530) 841-2900.

I am so glad for her! At least she is alive and hopefully can recover from whatever trauma/injury happened. I have a strong feeling that some crime was committed against her.

Tarren Wolsmann (AKA Zook) is missing again. She was arrested and released in Medford, OR last December and hasn't been seen since. Nor has she had any encounters with law enforcement nationwide, which is unusual. Her family says her mental health has been deteriorating.

Some commenters claim to have seen her recently. Hopefully she will be found and receive help.
