CLACKAMAS, Ore. (KOIN) — A family of 5 who went camping in the Mount Hood Forest in mid-September is overdue returning and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to find them.

Veronica Weathers, 51, her 26-year-old daughter Kasey Kent and Kent’s young children — 7, 6 and 3 — went camping in the forest, possibly south of the Ripplebrook Store, officials said. But they have not returned as expected.
The family was in 2 cars, a 2000 red Dodge Durango with an Oregon plat 162FYS and a purple 1986 Dodge pickup with a canopy with an Oregon plate 449ADM.

Woah. Kaseys does say she will be off line until mid October so maybe she will be back in a week or two? Very strange. Lots of foreign friends it looks like for both of them.

Kaseys post from Sept. 2nd re: the rapture is telling. Veronica reposted it. It references fleeing to the wilderness. My guess is they are okay but out there for religious reasons.

I noticed that Veronica made a post on July 30th that she would be offline and off grid until August 16th. She posted a bunch on July 31st but then did not post again until Sept 2nd. So perhaps it is not uncommon for them to take breaks from social media and stop using their phones for several weeks? Kasey did say she would be offline until mid- Oct so hopefully they are just out there living off-grid and not communicating with anyone.

What day was the world supposed to end?
this is frightening...
They wouldn't kill themselves would they?

I was thinking that too. I think it's possible if they believe the rapture occurs after all the bad stuff (the tribulation) they might want to kill themselves to escape early.

Or maybe they wanted to go somewhere peaceful to wait for the rapture and will come back when they run out of supplies.

Sept 23rd I believe. I'm seriously hoping they will be back mid-Oct but I'm concerned that no one seems to have spotted their vehicles anywhere.

I'm so concerned for those poor babies.

I hope they have enough supplies and I hope the kids didn't die because of their mother/grandmother's religious beliefs.

I'm so concerned for those poor babies.
