Police: Caregiver Considered Suspect After 2-Year-Old Girl’s Body Found In Shallow Grave In Ogontz Park

The body of a missing 2-year-old girl was found in a shallow grave at a park on Tuesday morning in the city’s Ogontz section.

The early morning search using cadaver dogs of a Philadelphia park has turned up the toddler's body, as 6ABC reports, adding:

The girl's body was partially buried but part of her head was exposed in a wooded area of Kemble Park at Ogontz and West Olney avenues.

Investigators spent much of the morning working to gather evidence at the crime scene on Ogontz and Olney Avenues in Kemble Park, right across the street from Central High School.

Police say it is a homicide investigation and the caregiver is being considered a suspect.

The caregiver contacted authorities Monday night to report the child had gone missing. Police say she lead investigators to Kemble Park, where they found the girl’s body partially buried in the woods.

The main aim behind this annual, internationally recognised day is to ‘acknowledge the pain suffered by children throughout the world who are the victims of physical, mental and emotional abuse.’ The days is used by the UN to affirm its commitment to protect the rights of children. In this regard, the work of the UN is guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, that provides for the protection of their right to life (Article 6),
The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development incorporates a specific target (16.2) to ‘end abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children’ by 2030.

When these criminals land in Prison, other inmates give them a 'bad time', make them pay.
Even those that don't follow the law, add their punishment towards those that inflict violence against children.
This is Karma acting out, throughout the punishment for the individuals that harm the innocent.

The partial burial with the head exposed is gruesome to contemplate, as if the killer had covered her body to keep her warm yet pillowed her head above the earth to suggest life. Psychologically telling, and it points to the caregiver.

Woman charged in death of toddler found buried in park

Corbitt led police to the body of the nearly 2-year-old Tuesday. The child had been reported missing Monday. Police say Corbitt may have been the girlfriend of the toddler’s father.

A search began Tuesday, and the girl’s body was found partially buried with the top of her head exposed. Police say surveillance footage shows Corbitt taking the child’s body to the park nearly a week before she was reported missing.
