Deceased/Not Found PA - Anna Maciejewska, 43, Chester County, 10 April 2017 - #2

WEST WHITELAND TWP., PA. (WPVI) --
State police detectives have just issued a search warrant for a townhome owned by Anna Maciejewska, who hasn't been seen since April 2017.

Late Thursday afternoon State Police used a ram to open the door of a townhouse belonging to the missing woman and her husband.

Her husband Allen Gould reported her missing. He initially talked to police but now refuses to co-operate, talk to reporters, or friends who have organized searches and a Find Anna Facebook page.

Police believe she is dead, the victim of a homicide and now call her husband a person of interest.

"Allen is a person of interest in this case. He has information that could help us with this case. Allen has not told the truth and again we want Allen to come forward and talk to us. We would like him to come here today," said Corporal Kirby.

Okay, that is what I thought. What I don't understand is why it took so long to get a warrant considering Anna was the sole owner.

From the story in the post by @Jacquie1 “The townhouse was owned by Maciejewska and then jointly owned by her and her husband Allan Jay Gould after their wedding. ”

The only deed I could find in the Chester County property records for the condo shows only Anna's name on the deed. Her husband is definitely on the home with her but not listed on the condo deed.

The HUSBAND DID NOT report her missing BTW

His time is running out!!! Even though it took almost 2 years to search the condo, if the murder took place there or if the condo was used as a place to "clean up", there would still be evidence somewhere. Fingers crossed!!

Reading back through this entire thread, it seems as though this condo might just hold some major answers- how the neighbors saw Allen putting the trash out at the condo several weeks around the time of her disappearance, someone observed muddy footprints at the condo around the time of her disappearance, etc.

I don’t remember LE stating previously that Allen was lying. Is this the first time that they have said this publicly?

Couldn't they have just used a locksmith?
I wonder if LE was trying to make a point to the husband by using a battering ram. Or this was planned either very quickly because the opportunity presented itself, or it had to happen right at that moment, so there was no time to bring in a locksmith.

The lesson to be learned here is do not underestimate LE because they are being quiet. That is actually the time when they are being most productive. We have seen this played out many times in the past.
