$25K reward for arrest of the driver in hit-and-run death of 4-year-old girl

A close family friend to the Wrights, Gavin Coffin, has offered a $25,000 reward to the person who can prove who struck and killed Dakota.

Coffin was at the scene at the time Dakota was hit and is asking the community to help get justice for her.

It has been six months since 4-year-old Dakota Wright was fatally struck by a van while crossing the street in Hanover Borough.

Monday, police released a screen capture of the suspected van from a traffic camera video recorded near the scene.

Police have made an arrest in a 2-year-old hit-and-run case in York County that claimed the life of 4-year-old Dakota Wright.
Tony Shower Jr., 32, of York, is charged in the crash.

Shower is charged with DUI, hit-and-run and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Why no negligent homicide or manslaughter? He was allegedly drunk!

Hanover Police: Man who fatally struck Dakota, 4, was on heroin, cocaine

Tony Brent Shower Jr. had been using heroin and crack-cocaine all day, making trips to Maryland and back to Hanover to replenish his drug supply when it ran out, according to charging documents filed by lead Hanover Detective Jared Auman.

He should have more serious charges for sure. I wonder why he doesn't
