State police search for missing teenage girl in Franklin County

State police are looking for a missing 16-year-old from Franklin County.

Police are looking for EH, of Chambersburg. High is 5-foot-2 and around 90 pounds and was last seen in the Scotland area of Chambersburg.

H is thought to be with the pictured teenage boy who has not been identified.

Police ask anyone with information on High’s whereabouts to call state police’s Chambersburg Barracks at (717) 264-5161.

A 16-year-old girl is missing and she is thought to be with boy from Florida she met on Instagram, her family friends told Daily Voice.

E went missing from Scotland Road in Chambersburg, PA sometime overnight on Monday, May 15, 2023, her family said.

E is approximately 5'2" tall and weighs around 90 lbs, Pennsylvania State Police say. Her family adds that she might be wearing a fake nose ring.

(Information given about the boy: He was homeless in FL, then went to live with an uncle in OH until he was kicked out. After meeting Emily on Instagram he went to Chambersburg. He was found hiding in her closet and was told to leave. That was the night she went missing.)

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — State police are looking for a missing teen girl who they believe is with a registered sex offender from Ohio.

EH, 16, was reported missing by her family on May 16.
She was last seen in the Chambersburg area.

High is described to be 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 90 pounds.

Police believe she is with whom they initially thought was a teenage boy but is actually 22-year-old Jaret John Wright.

Wright is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and around 120 pounds. He has a tattoo of a rose on his right hand, a tattoo on his left wrist that says "Brynnlee", and a tattoo of symbols on his left hand.

Wright is a registered sex offender in Ohio.

Police say this is not a kidnapping investigation at this time but Wright is facing charges related to High running away.

Anyone with information about High's whereabouts is asked to call PSP Chambersburg at 717-264-5161.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, 16-year-old EH has been missing since May 15 from Chambersburg, Pa., a town about an hour southeast of Harrisburg. She is described as 5'2", 90 pounds with sandy hair and hazel eyes and may be wearing a clip-on nose ring.

Officials say they believe she may be with 22-year-old Jaret Wright, who authorities say also may go by the name Jay Sanrose. Pennsylvania State Police say Wright has a felony warrant on file.

A felony warrant is currently on file for Wright after he failed to show up to treatment while on probation.

Previously, Wright pleaded guilty in 2022 to multiple counts of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the fourth degree, with a College Hill teenager, according to court documents. He's also guilty of one count of illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material.

Court documents show that Wright, who was 20 years old at the time, met the teen he sexually assaulted on Instagram and spent three weeks living under the victim's bed in 2021. The teenager knew Wright was hiding out in her room, but the teen's mother was unaware. It was found that Wright forcefully administered a drug or intoxicant to the teen before assaulting her.

Wright was sentenced to three years probation, and he had to complete drug, alcohol and sex offender treatment, which is what he failed to show up to in October 2022. He also was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Police believe High and Wright could still be in the Chambersburg area, but anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to called Pennsylvania State Police at 1-717-264-5161.

(This is exactly the same pattern -- he also met E on Instagram and was found hiding in her closet. Her parents must be frantic.)

Please do not jump to possible drug use based on someones weight. There needs to be other factors before jumping to this possibility imo. Someone can be underweight for different reasons besides drug use. Just as it is hurtful to those overweight, speculating on thin people is not fair.

This made me mentally scratch my head. A person of 18 having a relationship (of any kind) with someone of 15 is not unusual. It's the same age difference as kids in high school. The purpose and nature of the relationship is the difference.

I had a similar attitude until I read that he forcibly drugged his rape victim before he raped her. This is not a case of an immature young man falling into puppy love with girls he meets online, IMO.

That's a case of a predator who is setting in his MO. And he needs to be stopped for good, not slapped again on the wrist.

I'm sure/I hope LE are questioning E’s friends in town, and that those friends truly understand the danger she is in, even if she doesn't know it yet. If LE believes they may still be in the area, I'm guessing that is most likely due to neither of them (E and JW) having access to the resources needed to get out of town.

Based on this guy's MO and circumstances surrounding his felony warrant, I'm trying to put myself in his shoes and imagine what he wants to do now. He was probably HOPING to be able to hide in E’s house for a while. That's not happening, so now what? I doubt he has much cash on him, and it sounds like his family is cooperating with authorities so he can't turn to them.

If he's trying to get away, having E with him only complicates things for him, UNLESS he can take advantage of her connections/friendships with other young, naive girls, in which case he would be pressuring E to reach out to friends she trusts in hopes of finding a new place to hide, a car to "borrow", money and/or food.

This is obviously all speculation on my part.
