Horvath Murder Trial Delayed

A Monroe County judge has agreed to delay the murder trial of Michael Horvath for a second time. Horvath is charged with kidnapping and killing holly grim of Lehigh County back in 20-13 and then burying her body at his home in Ross Township. Grim's remains were found on Horvath's property in 2016. His trial was expected to start next month. Horvath and his attorneys were in court today asking to push that back until next year. The judge agreed to delay the trial until sometime in the spring. The Monroe County District Attorney is seeking the death penalty in that murder case.

This is just not acceptable.
It's been YEARS!
He pled not guilty right? So he should be fighting to get his trial on so he can prove his innocence. (I do not think he is innocent)
This is crazy and upsetting.

The trial of Michael Horvath, the Monroe County man accused of kidnapping and killing Lower Macungie Township resident Holly Grim, has been pushed back to January 2022, more than eight years after the 41-year-old mother of one vanished.

Monroe County Judge Margherita Patti-Worthington said the delay is necessary due to COVID-19 precautions, which have suspended jury trials and created a backlog of court cases. Horvath’s trial is projected to last a month or more, including jury selection.
 
Approaching 9 years. NINE YEARS!
November 22, 2013 Holly went missing and still no trial or justice.

As state troopers closed in on Michael Horvath as a suspect in a Lower Macungie mother's 2013 disappearance, they left a note reading, "We know what you did to Holly Grim," on Horvath's truck, hoping it would spook him into leading investigators to her body.

In March 2016, troopers placed a note on the windshield of Horvath’s truck that read, “We know what you did to Holly Grim. Do the right thing.”

The ruse didn’t pay off as investigators hoped, but after a fourth interview with police in September 2016 when Horvath admitted he misled them about his excuse for missing work, was unable to explain the early morning cellphone call near Grim’s trailer and agreed that his blood on Grim’s door looked fresh, police obtained a warrant to search Horvath’s property in Ross Township, Rakaczewski said.

Mory said one coworker with whom she had had a relationship harassed her and sent her unwanted items and another was upset that Grim had intervened in his relationship with her friend.

inside Horvath’s home that included videotapes and DVDs on serial killers and murder, handcuffs and leg shackles, a stun gun, lock picking manuals and tools and homemade guns capable of firing shotgun shells and .22 caliber ammunition.
 
A few notes and thoughts.
The judge/DA finally agreed there was probable cause for a search warrant after the forth interview with him. Perpetual pressure on POI's pays off.
Who was the employee sending her unwanted gifts?
And, was Allen Organ employee Stephanie Roof's murderer the guy that was upset Holly "intervened" in his relationship with her friend?
