A man charged with sexual assault in Northampton County is connected to a bizarre case of kidnapping in Monroe County, court documents confirm.

SMITHFIELD TWP., Pa. -- A man charged with sexual assault in Northampton County is connected to a bizarre case of kidnapping in Monroe County, court documents confirm.

The Northampton County District Attorney's Office says Davaun Jackson is involved in an investigation that started in May after an alleged sexual assault took place while he was interviewing someone for a job at his Pen Argyl property.

County documents name Jackson as a suspect in a case out of Monroe County where three women and a teenage girl were kidnapped, tied up in a storage container, and sexually assaulted.

Jackson and a second man, Isaiah Rogers-Keeney, were arrested and charged with the kidnapping.

The female victims witnessed a shooting in Wilkes Barre, and the two men allegedly wanted to keep them quiet.
