 sounds like she is lucky to be alive.I hope they put him away for a long time.

A Blair County man has been found guilty of assaulting and injuring his 10-month-old daughter.

Jesse Hooper, 24, of Martinsburg, wept as the jury returned its verdict on Thursday.

    Jesse James Hooper

    Housed: Frackville
    Offense Date: 12/21/2005

    Offense: Aggravated Assault
    Sentence: 78 months - 156 months (6 1/2 years - 13 years)

Offense: Endangering the Welfare of a Child
    Sentence: 16 months - 32 months (roughly 1 yr 4 months - 2 years 6 months)

Sentences are consecutive. PA DOC doesn't give expected parole date information.

As an aside, this guy had a number of drug charges prior to the abuse arrest. Looks like he was given probation on all of them.
