14-year-old Olivia Johnson is missing in Monroe County since Monday around 2:30 p.m.

Police checked several homes where she might have been staying and her mom called her cell phone multiple times but Johnson has not been found or heard from.

She's described as 5-foot-2 with long red hair, and was last seen wearing gray leggings, a gray hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.

I live in Monroe county and I have heard nothing about this at all. Monroe County is huge, I wish they would have been more specific as to which area of the county she is missing.

There seems to be no urgency in this. Is she considered a runaway? Is that why? Nobody I know is aware of this. No news coverage at all. I don't understand. This is a huge, woodsy county in the Pocono Mountains. Why no search efforts? Did she go to school the day she went missing? Who was she last with? I don't understand.

I just don’t get it. Some cases there’s an abundance others barely none. I feel like it’s not the family’s fault. They’re scrambling enough already I’m sure. The le and news media should be all over this. How sad.

In digging into Monroe County Court activity there is an eviction case involving her mother that started on 10/2/2018. However, in looking at the docket the landlord moved for a judgement of abandonment and the rent was over 3 months behind (also the landlord claimed nearly 1600 in damages). The eviction closed in the landlord's favor on 10/17/2018

So, now it makes me wonder if wherever the family went isn't where Olivia wanted to be.
