'I wish to enlist your help in finding our missing son, he was last
seen at the Costa Rica/Panama border at Pasa Canoa, Western Union
Office and has been missing for 4 years. He was going to spend some
time in Panama then travel on to South America. We have been looking
in Panama for a few years now but no luck. On our last visit to
Panama we ran into a couple from Costa Rica who thought they had seen
him there. He was also seen near Las Tablos, Panama last year, near
    the beaches.

His name is Chad Eirikson, age 24, dirty blond hair, 5'11" thin. He
is Canadian. He has been working hotels and cafes in the past and
should be doing the same now.
I will be posting a photo soon on this site, waiting for a new
    touched up version.
If you have heard this name, our know him please let us know, or the
    local police.

    Thanks

    Larry'

So his parents think/used to think he disappeared voluntarily?

I don't know. I guess he might not be missing anymore. Whatever that means.

Very odd. I have tried finding info on this guy, but nothing substantial seems to be available.
