**warning - if you watch these videos you may see what i consider child abuse - extreme emotional abuse and some hitting**

    http://www.9news.com.au/world/2017/...claims-pranks-are-fake-as-slap-video-surfaces

    http://www.phillyvoice.com/youtube-removes-daddyofives-horrific-invisible-ink-prank-video/

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/04/19/youtube-pranks-get-parents-accused-child-abuse-by-viewers.html

i dont know if i can link them directly here but if you search "invisible ink prank" on youtube you should find some commentary videos that include clips of the original removed video.

it is textbook emotional abuse, way beyond what is acceptable imo. they take it way too far and for way too long, if your kid is crying hysterically, hitting himself, pulling his hair out etc for several minutes, maybe its gone too far eh? they do this repeatedly, with the mother screaming obscenities at the kids...

    so foul.

here is their apology video - they are full of it, the videos are not fake and scripted and anyone with a brain in their head can see that. they are "pranks" on the part of the parents, the trauma the kids are experiencing is very real and they are not "in on it".

people really need to find more productive ways to spend their free time,

youtube, facebook, twitter, etc etc etc are all forms of mindless, senseless entertainment, even worse then sitting there watching TV,

i can't think of any better form of "brain rot"

social media is nothing but people who are looking for attention, i find it sad actually, and it's just "dumbing down" society in general,

Did not watch the videos and never will, find the commentary here enough to get the picture.

I fear those that have to take SM to a 'higher' level - as in posting how to shoot a stranger in cold blood. It will get worse. Jmo.

they're disgusting excuses for parents and they should be investigated by child welfare authorities

even if (and I don't believe it's true) the videos are fake or exaggerated, that still reveals them to be pathetic role models at best

    poor kids

I haven't watched the videos yet but it isn't hard to determine they are awful. My birth father's brother thought it was funny to scare the crap out of my sister and I when we were children as a "prank". He would park by a cliff and scream his brakes were going out and we were going over and would do the same thing down a boat ramp. To this day, I am terrified of heights and of anywhere I cannot get out of (don't even think of putting anything over my head or around my neck either.) This crap stays with children and is a horrible form of abuse. :stormingmad:

Those parents are sadistic especially the mom. She was laughing while her kids were in extreme distress and the foul language she used with her kids was cringe worthy.

The odds are against those kids growing up to be well adjusted adults. God bless them!

The man's apologies aren't even sincere. He apologizes that other people are concerned by the videos. IOW, "You're the problem. We're fine with it." MOO

There are several videos showing children being hit and emotionally abused. In one, the mother splattered "invisible" ink on the carpet of the little boy's room and then berated him and cussed at him for getting ink on the carpet. The poor little boy cried and sobbed, telling her he didn't do it. The "parents" claim it was a practical joke. Just stupid. I really hope they're investigated by CPS.

Parents in general need to be more considerate of their children's privacy.

I am sure most kids are not asking for every waking moment of their lives to be displayed publicly on youtube, facebook, etc etc, for the entire world to see.

I also fail to see the point of living your entire life holding a video camera in your hand.

I saw the video with the invisible ink last week on The Talk.
This is child abuse....no doubt about it.

Their apology is the only staged and scripted (read - FAKE) of this whole disaster.

I'd like to know what was said in the parts that were cut out.

At least they're going to family counseling (if true).

She mentions the effect the publicity over the videos had on their kids at school. Yet, she said they were trying to see how many "hits" they could get. What kind of effect does she think the videos had on the kids if they were viewed by their classmates? They wanted attention for the videos and they got it.

This is the first I have heard about these horrendous parents and their 'pranks'...I am so glad at least 2 of the children were removed from this situation. I hope all the kids will be okay.

Good job to all those who fought for Cody and Emma! You did it!

I am SO SO relieved that Cody and Emma are out of that house.

However, I am still genuinely concerned for the well-being of the remaining three kids - especially now. :/

The reactions of the kids on the videos show what it's like, I think, when
    the cameras aren't rolling.

I think that's a super angry, immature and cruel guy and a sadistic woman.
The youngest son is the type to be found rescued, weighing far too little and
covered with scars after months of torture and everyone wonders why just him and how no one questioned when he disappeared.

This is what those types of families look like just before unfathomable
    escalation, IMO.
