I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong place, but I’d like to see if there are updates on a case I just remembered from Unsolved Mysteries back in the 1980s.
I can’t recall the missing person’s name, though these are the details in my memory: The missing person is female, Caucasian. She went missing sometime between 1980 and 1985, likely around 1982 or 1983, and was around 40 -55 when she vanished. I believe she lived with two daughters in Southern Mississippi. The night of the crime, she left home mid evening and told her daughters she was going out for a while and would call to check on them. Sometime a few hours later, she phoned home and told her daughter that she had met a couple (male/female) and they were going to drive to some place along the Gulf Coast … Biloxi or maybe even Mobile, AL. She never came home and the daughters never heard from her again.
Does this case sound familiar to anyone, or does anyone know the name of the missing woman? Thanks so much in advance for any help.
