I think her defense team is furious at her for her interview and probably hate having to attempt to get her life in prison rather than death after she told the entire world she wants death.

My understanding is that Travis's family are considered victims and the Arizona laws for victims say they do not have to answer any questions, at any time, from anyone, if they don't want to.

Of course if Nurmi wants to cement his reputation as a jerk, he could try to go after Samantha.

No. But I believe witnesses (jodi, daryl) can. Beth Karas explained it earlier...but no nobody can ask the Alexanders anything.
